The machine mechanism is almost completely closed. It only has two small holes where dirt can enter. I have a video where you can see this, and there really isn't much rubbish in it. So, there is no need to have a port for the vacuum cleaner. I particularly like the wooden shavings. I have to use them in some project. Do you have any ideas? kzbin.info/www/bejne/romnmpRpe7mSjs0

Hello - thanks for the video, I have had this saw for some time now, I do seem to break blades often. Can you say something about how to guage correct tension. I usually have ti so if I tap the blade sideways with my finger it can move a mm of so either side
They breal with ease. I see the tension with the sound of the blade as I pulls it aside and lets go. When cutting, let the material to be cut enter as the blade cuts, without forcing it. What sometimes happens to me is that the machine, although small, has a lot of strength, and there is a tendency to force the material to cut faster. Hope this helps. One more thing, I also break a lot of blades.
@anepictree
@anepictree Жыл бұрын
@ Thanks, yes good. I have kept my broken blades (they always break at the weld) I have found a company here in France that mends them, I am going to get them repaired. The repair is much cheaper than a new blade - If it works out,well I'll let you know

@@anepictree I'd also love to know! Do they hold up after the repair? I can only braze at home not sure if that's an appropriate method to repair them. I kinda feel like welding is necessary to give them the right amount of strength
