Aren’t you cutting across the stage? Is that not distracting? Brilliant work nonetheless
@budget-church-livestreaming6 сағат бұрын
Yeah, I'm definitely crossing the stage, but staying really close to that backline. We don't usually do this - normally we've got a cam op per side of the stage and they only go about 33% across each, so the middle stays pretty clear. Just a low week for volunteers haha but honestly I don't think it was too too distracting!

ok what about the audio . If we want to take the output from the mixer to connect to the ATEM? How to connect properly because we are getting an awful sound.
@budget-church-livestreaming7 күн бұрын
A big gotcha with these is that you need to set the input on the ATEM Mini to line level, but it defaults to mic level!

I think at this point the Ace 750 is replacing the 500 at the $1k price point. Hard to find the 500 anymore and for whatever reason a lot of places price it higher than the 750 which seems odd to me.
@budget-church-livestreaming7 күн бұрын
Yeah I think so too! But I haven't tried one yet so I can't technically vouch for it. But I'm sure it's pretty similar (and probably at least a little bit better)

Is there a range issue when it comes to the Teradek Ace500? I run the Accsoon Cineview HE on a roving gimbal setup for events and although the latency isnt good, the reliability of the connection and the battery efficiency is really good. So that gives me peace of mind in terms of execution. Im concerned that if I were to use the Teradek Ace500 in a 500 pax event venue that it would struggle in terms of range and consistency
@budget-church-livestreaming9 күн бұрын
I think it maybe has technically less range, but that's not really something that's a problem in a single room venue
@itsaaronmiller11 күн бұрын
From a non-live standpoint, would you go with these or the hollyland pyro? Latency definitely matters to some degree as I could use it to pull focus but I usually rent a teradek when no latency is crucial
@budget-church-livestreaming10 күн бұрын
I liked these better than the pyro s. The latency was definitely lower and I think the quality was higher. They're bigger though, so if you're trying to save space that could be an issue.
@itsaaronmiller10 күн бұрын
@ not too concerned about space. It’ll be on a rigged out cinema cam. Thanks for the input!!

hey, thanks for the video. Very informative. Do you know by any chance if FreeShow has the option to configure and use two beamers (or monitors) side by side as one wider monitor. ProPresneter has the option to concatenate or blend several beamers to have a wider image but for the person using the app, it is like using just one wide output.
@DanielGarciaLagoa12 күн бұрын
edge blending, I think, is called
@madebydalton13 күн бұрын
IMO, these new wireless transmitters that come out can only be measured by one parameter: the latency. If the latency is too long, immediately out of the question. On post production sets where you want to stream to phones, iPads, etc., maybe something like this is viable, but in a live environment it's just unusable. Ace 500 still reigns supreme.
@budget-church-livestreaming13 күн бұрын
I mean, latency is definitely MOST important, but those other pieces still matter. Zero latency doesn't do you any good if it's 480p 😂 but yes, hard agree
@madebydalton13 күн бұрын
@@budget-church-livestreaming for sure, but I'd bet you'd be hard pressed to find anything under 1080p these days.
@budget-church-livestreaming13 күн бұрын
@@madebydalton yeah, but I more just meant the image can still look bad, just like the lowest bitrate mode on this one. Latency may be the most important, but it's not the only thing

Thanks a lot for the video. I’m planning on building this but with neopixels(LEDStripes) that the persons on stage can see it properly. I have one question though: how good is the WiFi on those boards, can they be 30 meters from the access point without issue? Otherwise I would go for the pro model with the external antenna. But I try to avoid it because they are not yet available in USB C.

Hey! Question for a fellow constellation 2ME user, our stream is at 1080 30p, however I have to set our multiview to show at 1080 60i, in order for it to appear on a computer monitor. If we were to run at 1080 60p it would show automatically, however I can't view at 60p when I'm streaming in 30p Do you know if there's any options other than using an up/down cross converter or using a TV instead of our 27" computer monitor which seems to not accept signals lower than 60p/60i? I've tried a handful of them that we've had on site. I have a feeling the atem mini always ran its output at 60fps regardless since it was designed for consumer tech - so we never ran into issues back then, however the constellation is broadcast so it's more particular about ins and outs. Thoughts?

Secondly, do these casters lock?
@budget-church-livestreaming2 ай бұрын
Oof, I don't remember exactly which casters I got for this, but they're fairly good sized and are all fully articulating, fully locking. However if I were to do it again, I would definitely get actual tires, not just plastic casters, because that would make for a much smoother drive.
