Imo the only reason to even touch raids is to craft legendary armor. I have been playing this game since beta, when your main grind was open world dungeons for dungeon exotic gear. Iv done exactly 3 raid bosses since they have come out. I see very little reason to do more... 1) i don't wanna run a special spec to get invited to a group. 2) There are no titles or drops I care about, only legendary armor that is slightly cooler then the other legendary armor I farmed in pvp. 3) I dont have hours a day to dive into a raid. 4) i dont like planning out a "raid night" 5) Strikes are more fun and scratch the itch way better.

Glad to help! And I feel like it’s best for you to check your photos and make that decision yourself. Take a photo with all 3 settings and take a look at it on your phone. See which one you like best! I could show comparisons and analyze photos all day, but at the end of the day it’s not about what I personally think is good - it’s about what quality you’re happy with when taking your own pics

Oh yes, it definitely won’t replace the griffin for speed at a high altitude

With my experience, it helps a hell of a lot when collecting orbs - where you need more control, but want to move faster - or when you need to climb altitude but don’t have enough energy in the tank

@@NitpickersAnonymous Mb I meant 20 minutes for a lantern run not map complete. The lanterns only appear after you complete the map so you can’t double down. I was farming the gifts for the obsidian armor and it took me a little less than 20 minutes for a full lantern run when using taco.

You actually can double down because once the map has been completed by any single character on your account, other characters you create that haven't completed the map can also complete the lanterns 😉 Ah gotcha - 20 min latern completion. Nice work! I haven't yet timed myself on it yet! I'm trying to complete my Kryptis essence collection first 😏

What I’d suggest is using HEIF Max, but using the customized color settings to bake in more color into the photo so you don’t have to edit it later. Then you’re set to shoot and post / save! For the color settings might I suggest at least using the rich contrast preset. It’s quite common for the iPhone to not portray colors as vibrant as they are in reality, or even as much as you’d like them to be :)

I literally just keep it set up like that on there 😂 however those 1% shots do exist because I’ve turned the setting off a handful of times. I can’t recall what situations those were though haha I feel like it was in a spot that already had warm lighting

It's not about understanding. It's about the statements being made. It's definitely very easy to understand that they can guarantee compatibility, particularly with a fixed ND. It's weird how they are going about explaining the compatibility or incompatibility with their products.

Yeah its not TOO bad of an expansion, but it definitely has its flaws. Doing the content without a skyscale...that sounds rough... The metas are pretty fun as well (spiders lair is fun too, but very hard to complete). Hopefully you have your skyscale now at least to make it more easy and enjoyable to traverse the area!

Thats fair, just my opinion on how he delivered the information - it didn't really ooze excitement for the features, or come across as someone who loved the game. Came across more like a news article, which I expect more from a review rather than a features reveal. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Oh he likely definitely knows more about the game than I! And yes, WAY more than expected! I may or may not have collected some cats. I'm sure I have at least one around...but I'd have to check. I've never focused on any cat collection 😅

@@NitpickersAnonymous Ciao John, thank you. I have watched the files and I noticed that all these pictures are taken with 1/320 f2.8. The problem here is that are taken with different iso values: 160 5000 8000 12800. That's the point. Nd Filters are created to help photographers achieve creative pictures using long exposure even under the sun without close to f22 and help the videomakers to use their lenses wide open ex 1.8 - 2.8 at 1/50 or 1/60 or 1/100 or 1/120 (and more). In your case, the noise is generated because the ISO is higher to take a good exposure with the same Exposure time and the same aperture used without ND. I saw you are from Australia,,, try to go to the beach or near some beautiful city street where a lot of cars are moving, then set the camera with ISO 100 - F5.6-8 and if you can 20-30 seconds of exposure with the ND filter. I hope this suggestion will help you enjoy using ND filters :). Cheers from Milan.

That is correct! I had different ISO values to combat the ND filter values. I was already aware of the noise being caused by my ISO values 😁 I love using my ND for fun things like that! Thanks for your tip!

It’s true, I did say that in an exaggerated way when I said, blatant re-skins (blame the American in me 😅), but what I meant was generally all the kryptis enemies and allies did reuse old skeletons, and that made it much less exciting. To be fair, they could’ve instilled a much better experience in me than it did, it’s just that the culmination of everything that SotO was(n’t), that really left it a bit lackluster. I don’t deny that they probably put a lot of effort into creating the kryptis, but to be honest, it was of the things that disappointed me the most, with the first being the story (overall). I think it’s also fair to say that people expect different things from expansions. I think skeleton recycling was just one of the things that I personally wished wasn’t done, at least in this instance. I really appreciate your comment, thank you!

@@NitpickersAnonymous I do agree with the idea that ideally anet should add some new skeletons/animations each expansion, but ultimately as long as we get enough overall I'm willing to cut them some slack on any given one expansion. For example spears have a LOT of all new animations! And you're right about how much that matters, I'm way more excited for spears now seeing how they feel unique. That said, my expectations for new enemy skeletons is lower because I see how much of that effort went into spears... but I hope to be wrong and get some new movement in both categories! Also hoping future expansions where there isn't a brand new weapon like this can go harder on enemy stuff.

Exactly, that’s what I mean. As long as we get something engaging enough, the reuse of that type of stuff shouldn’t matter too much and I can totally cut them slack over it. BUT since this expac wasn’t that exciting in other areas, that’s why it mattered more IMO. Also it just came to mind that the fact we have to do rifts over and over and over again, should have given us at least SOMETHING more unique to play with there. I’m very excited for the spears too, and it definitely looks like all new stuff, but at the same time fighting the same looking creatures over and over is for me what gets more old than using my characters skills because I think it’s a different type of mindset - having familiarity with your own skills, but being surprised by enemy ones (initially)

Oh wow, that’s another amazing way to collect them! This guide is more just for PvE gaming if you just wanna ‘chill’ farm them I’d say. But this is great advice, if anyone wants to go take advantage of this!
