Great to see you again, Marilyn. I totally agree with you on the paper. It actually gives me a headache. It has a smell to it as well. I just don't buy it. There are many here I didn't know were glossy until I purchased them. So I will be destashing or gifting. Tfs. Hope your MOJO returns shortly. I miss your makes. Pea

What cute products you picked, Marilyn! I'm not even a stamper but had to have all three of Anna's new designs. The Dianna Marcum stamps are adorable too. The high today here in Northwest Minnesota is -14 degrees. I could use that hot chocolate!

I'm not sure why it's even needed. I mean it's an extra step that wouldn't need to be done. So think cost would be cheaper if it was left out.

Hi, I've just recently become interested in making felt decorations with the create & stitch dies. Having spent over £400 on dies & supplies I have become very disappointed with my efforts. I've used 1mm thick felt but, when it came to stitching the stitching holes, my felt is ripping. I then tried 2mm thick felt, but this is too thick. Now I am regretting forking out hundreds of £s on a cutting machine and all the extras. I'd be interested in your thoughts.

I'm assuming you are UK based given your comment. I can only speak to what I purchase and have used. I only use wool or wool blend felt from specific companies. I never use the cheaper polyester felt you can buy in big box craft stores. In this video I named a few stores here in the US. I used to design these types of dies, so if the designer puts the stitching hole too close the edge it will rip and or if you are pulling too tight or have overstuffed the item. I haven't had problems at all with the ripping part, but have read some folks will use fray block to help with that situation. Sometimes if I wanted things to be sturdy I will fuse vinyl or fabric to my felt before die cutting and stitching. That also helps it to keep from ripping.

You may already have seen it since this video is not new but LaLa land crafts makes a cute baking sheet die that looks like your stamp from stamp market and comes with a cookie sheet die it fits inside of if you want.
