You chose to drive in a back road, for your content, lieng that people dont speak English in Zim is a blantant lie, This type of Content shows your push at telling a bad narrative which other Vloggers have already shown. TRASH is not poverty.. there is a road from Vic Falls to Harare, THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY NONSENSE VIDEO..

There is tarmac from Victoria falls to Harare, though not good as what you have in the US. Did you just choose to drive via dirty roads?

We drove the tarmac from Vic Falls to Lupane, and then the dirt road from Lupane to Kwekwe. Some beautiful places enroute!

Surprisingly your wife doesn’t speak English either.!! You come across as very arrogant. Do your research first before you visit some of these countries.

If there is no trash it doesn't mean people are poor. It's our rural areas. Try to at least study the country before making assumptions. Also, make effort to learn basic local language words than to expect people to know English. By the way, we have local food.

If you saw clips of Harare city centre back in the 80’s and 90’s - today the difference is day and night . What a wonderful city and country it was back then . Dictatorship , mismanagement, incompetence and corruption .😭

True. Wealth has been lost and concentrated into only a few hundred people at the top. The impoverished masses in Zimbabwe are no better today than decades ago, and likely even worse.

Regarding this Cross-island track, is it the one through Papenoo Valley and Lake Vaihiria? Am I correct that the tunnel is closer to the southern part/shore of the island? How much time does one need without radial trips just to go across? Two full days/one night? (Oh, I see the title "4-day track across" on your photo). Are any permits needed? Is it on the valley floor or on ridges as well? Thank you.
@LukasEddy
@LukasEddy 25 күн бұрын
We just walked on the road which passes through the tunnel. It's not really a marked hike, but it goes all the way across the island. If you go really fast, it might be reasonable in two very long days and one quick night. But this would be quite a feat. A minimum of two nights three days, or better yet three nights four day, gives you time to enjoy it all.

@@LukasEddy Thanks a lot! There is not much info on this trail, and many suggest a guided 4x4 vehicle tour; some made it in the 4x4 themselves, but it looks quite challenging. I may reach out at your website. Best!

Dumb, this is how you end up drowning... a slippery wrong, a crumbling cave in just to name a few. Always practice caution when exploring places like this and let people know you're going in so rescue can be on standby.

What an overdramatic video. I've been here and yes you have to watch out sometimes but please don't act like you almost got killed or something. Btw; jaguars love coming to water just for drinking, relaxation and crossing - this animal was NOT trying to attack you at all. American posers.

Potential for great footage - but man, the sensationalization ruined it for me. “Stalked…aggressive…deadly” that kind of language is disconnected from the beauty & complexity of the ecosystem you entered voluntarily. Instead of clickbait, re-frame to appreciation for the natural world.
