Presenting from the floor depends on whether they can see you or not ... 100% correct that if anyone cannot see me in this situation then I'd be limited to the lectern. However, in this case, I did present fully from the floor because the room seating situation I studied (being there earlier to watch other speakers do the same) made me feel it would be OK. Every situation is unique. In all my 20+ years of speaking, I've never presented in front of a lectern and I don't intend to start now! That's like chains on my feet!

+++ I was the only speaker who had the tech equipment with me to do the front monitor ;)) Everyone else was looking backwards all day long at the screen ... eeekkkk!! I never needed to because of the tech I brought with me.

Glad it is helpful! There's a few different ways of doing it so it kinda depends on the set up ... but an extra HDMI cord, sound cord, HDMI splitter and a coupler (all < $75) should be the FIX!! :)

Thanks for sharing! Fall and Winter are just as popular as Summer! The North Carolina coast stays mild throughout the Fall. Usually we do holiday cruises for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years! The boat has 2 heaters and 2 air conditioners on board as well ... hope to welcome you aboard :)

Owning a boat can be expensive! Yes, mine is a rental property now, BUT there's always something to work on and fix.

What I love about the Carolinas is that it's mild most of winter ... of course "cold" and "mild" are relative! :) Right now, it's December 6th and it's 69 degrees outside with beautiful blue skies ... there is a heater AND air conditioner on board the boat ... regardless of outside temperatures, you set the temperature inside!
