I just realized I watched this yesterday when it came out and did not provide a thank you. I had registered but got busy with work and your email about the replay brought me here. So anyway. Just wanted to say thank you again.

Thanks for the content and the experiences shared. Can you please also share your experiences on using the CWV library+GA4+BigQuery solution, instead of lighthouse, pagespeed api, search console etc in terms of more accurate real use cases data? GA3 page load reports are always with sampling, but with the above solution you collect many, many hits. thanks!

Which solution are you referring to @george ? I love the batch lighthouse testing and page per page crux data you can use. Another solution is to use custom metrics and then use the field data to populate.

@@ArnoutHellemans greetings! Unfortunately, due to the links used the comment never went live. Also KZbin never sent a notification of the fact. Even though I've sent the links in twitter, I reply again, that I'm referring to the implementation showed in the KZbin video "v=xg47r3Y6K8I" and also on web.dev vitals-ga4 site. thanks again!

Hi! it's great to know that the workflow is getting easier and smoother than i've experienced so far. but i do notice that on the all hint exported sheet, there are some elements getting removed such as the "Hint Description" and the "Status" which are playing some essential part on our workflow. so I would like if you can add some customization on the export files, so we can choose what to show and what to not, and how do we gonna show it like the urls, for example, would it be hyperlinks or naked urls. or maybe how to work around it in this case. as always, thank you!
@nomrbendt
@nomrbendt 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! Tbh I am not sure how easy it is for us to allow tons of customization, but we will take another look at the export and see if we can resolve some of the 'missing' datapoints.

only other thing i would request, would be a column that has the raw url for the linked sheet (so not using anchor text), as we often will import from this sheet into our asana, and set a task per row, with a custom field for 'link to affected urls'. This breaks when the Google sheet is using anchor text hyperlinks. We have a workflow to get around this, but if you could bake it directly in then this would be a +1 from us :)

Thank you Joshua, I have added this into our backlog, sounds like it should be straightforward to do tbh.

Thanks for great presentation. Totally agree on Google's warnings on "How To" schema and images. Ridiculous to add images for every step because it often makes a worse article for the user and page load times. Also, love Patrick's sweater.

Very nice feature. But looking at your examples, is "Bath" case sensitive and is "packing list" going to return pages with the two words adjacent? Or do I have to try to refine using the RegEx.
@Sitebulb
@Sitebulb 4 жыл бұрын
Glad you like it! If you look at that part of the video (around 5 minutes) where I enter 'Bath' you'll see underneath a tickbox for 'ignore case'. This is ticked by default, so in this case it is not case sensitive - but you can untick that box if you wish to make it so. "Packing list" - yes it will pick up instances where the two words are adjacent, so this example would pick up "skiing packing list" and "packing list skiing" but not "packing skiing list". Hope that helps!
