It is a mix of the shorter suctions from the stimulation mode and longer suctions of the expression mode. It can also vibrate at the same time to loosen the milk ducts when pumping - potential benefits are more milk faster and better drainage to help prevent mastitis or engorgement.

Thank for the lovely feedback! The Elvie Stride comes with 300mmHg so slightly more powerful than the V2, which is 288mmHg. It has 10 suction levels, so again slightly more than the V2 & Freestyle which have 9. The cups are only 5oz capacity, so the V2 definitely holds more at 7oz. The biggest plus for me with the Elvie Stride is that it comes with the app, but unlike the Medela app, you can control your pump from it (not just track your pumping session) so it makes it much more discreet. The biggest downside is that the battery life is only 150 mins, which is decent, but 30 mins less than the V2. The controller is also larger on the Elvie Stride. My choice would be between the Momcozy V2 and Elvie Stride. If you need a longer battery usage time and the bigger cup capacity go with the Momcozy V2 (I also love how small the controller is). If you want the convivence and discretion of an app, go with the Elvie Stride. Hope that helps :)

Both are recommended for sitting or standing positions only. And both can be used as a single or double.

The battery lifespan is 500 hours which is pretty good for a wearable breast pump. How long that will last will depend on how often you are pumping with it. But as an example, 500 hours = 1500 x 20 min pumping sessions or 2000 x 15 min pumping sessions. Even at 8 x 20 min sessions a day that is over 6 months of full time pumping. If you are part time pumping or pumping for shorter periods it will obviously last much longer.

It could be an inadequate seal somewhere, parts needing replacing, or a faulty pump. Otherwise it could also be a difference is modes/suction patterns and strength. The M5 has a vibration mode which is designed to help with milk extraction. I don't have the Ameda Mya joy pump to compare.

Great question! I prefer the Momcozy M6. It's more powerful (up to 295mmHg vs 260mmHg suction strength of the Duo), it has a much longer battery usage time (180 mins vs just 100mins of the Duo), and comes with more inclusions like the hard shell carry case. How important to you is having the app? If you don't need it, then I would go for the Momcozy M6 or or even the M5 as they are very simple to use and minimal parts for cleaning. The total mobility is definitely a plus, and the app is more intergrated i.e. you can use it with a smart watch. However, it is also less powerful compared with the M9.
