Hey Ariel! The entire short takes place inside that nebula. It’s another one of the star systems scattered through that area that we kinda feature at the beginning with all the different stars coming towards camera. So he’s at one end of the nebula and he warps to the other side to find the planet orbiting another star system. I REALLY appreciate such thoughtful analysis and questioning. Hey Lesley. It is written on the casing of the orange glow stick. It’s the only glow stick that is colored orange (rather than blue) throughout the journey indicating that something is different about it. When he’s locked out, he recognizes he passed blue - blue - orange, which is why he looks back at the orange. We pan down to read the code. He types the code in. It works. Which shows him he’s being lured in. Btw the code is 1337. Which is an old gamer term that means LEET or ELITE. It’s a bit of an Easter egg for old school gamers.
