How AI was this? It sounds really cool I’m just curious; was it given lots of psychedelic songs. Did it create the sounds or compose it and you or someone else put them into MIDI or whatever?

The AI was exposed to millions of songs including psychedelic songs, a bit like a real human getting influenced by existing songs. The AI can create brand new songs and new music genres by mixing its influence (without using them directly). The AI's internal model is a complex multi-dimensional vector getting adjusted in the training process. To create the song from the users's input, the AI converts a text prompt of the song's general description to a song. You can try it on udio.com. It's 100% ai, vocals, music, lyrics. Only the prompts are human made. It can be done using udio.com

at first I thought the lyrics didn't really bounce well with the music itself. had to give it a second listen while focusing on the lyrics itself and it started to feel like it put itself together much better. Very interesting track. love the retro fantasy movies feel it has (be intentionally or not)
