Some books in the new testament are describing what happened in the old testament. Acts of the Apostles is a transitional book going from law to grace. Catholicism mixes law with grace and has neither.

Thank you for this beautiful narration. I have been to Mary’s house in Ephesus in the Selcuk region. A very Holy place indeed! I experienced her love quite intensely while visiting her home. I will never forget it. I hope one day to return. I would have loved to meander through the back of the house and see where the Stations of the Cross and the grotto might have been. I would also have loved to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass there as well. Thank you again for your narration of her death and Assumption. Today is the Feast of the Assumption of our Blessed Mother.

What a vision, I have no words to describe the pain on Judas betrayal. But he was appointed to do that, someone has to betrayed our Lord, it was written, sadly Judah was the one. When the Apostles chose by lot the replacement Apostle Matthias for Judas Iscariot, the other disciple not chosen was Joses Barsabas his cousin the son of Mary Cleopas from her second marriage. I believe he is the young man who ran away naked from the soldiers at the Garden of Gethsemane , and quite possibly the one who Christ said would remain until his return.

Thank you so much for this beautiful narration! You're just what I was looking for. Other sites have horrible computer voices or it's just read too quickly or with zero emotion. You narrate with great feeling, pausing when it's necessary, which gives us time to picture the things in our heads. This will definitely help in my rosary meditations.

Well, Pythagoras would never agree that the piano was the "perfect" musical instrument. Far from it. In order for the piano to exist, we have had to invent a different musical harmony, called equal temperament (versus just intonation or just temperament which is what Pythagoras was familiar with), where we have to do some "fudging" (some approximating or compromising) in order for the music to sound in tune. A mathematician should be able to understand this difference. In addition, the piano and equal temperament were not in existence in 1531. I wonder what this music would sound like using just temperament and instruments that WERE in existence in 1531.
