I can absolutely relate to most of the things that you said. My father is an attorney and he cannot fathom why I like building pre-war cars. When I was in High school I had a 1967 911that I pulled out of a scrapyard. I then proceeded to rebuild what I had time to at my school that was known for graduates going to Georgetown and Harvard and not building cars . We did have a huge machine shop that was completely decimated when the machine shop teacher died. I kept going in school until I achieved a PhD in Metallurgical Chemical engineering. I never lost my love for building cars and have done a few Porsches and Kharmann Ghias. I was run over on my 1957 Harley during the plandemic and I rethought what I was doing. I have a Porsche on a trailer in the barn and a 1928 Morgan that I am going to start my KZbin channel with. I found a great lathe and milling machine and plan on making all my own parts. Good luck and keep up the great work!!

This video is great, I bought a 928 a couple years ago not knowing what it is, but now I'm super happy I have It. I wish more people would celebrate them like they do Honda s2000 or viper. It really did a lot for Porsche. It pushed their design language forward, Interior and exterior. And the earlier models are a lot more like a 911 than a true GT car like the later 928. I really wish it got more attention. Anyway, thanks for reading my rant lol. I loved the video and I'm in my 928 playlist. I hope you do more videos. You really have a talent for it and it is really high quality. You deserve more subs.

I started working as a volunteer in the local hospital's e.r. in 1970. Over the next four years, three doctors died, driving 911s. Knowing how smart they had to be, and yet dying because it wasn't the perfect car that they thought it to be, made me suspect that something was wrong with it. Later having that confirmed, with the deadly trailing throttle oversteer characteristic which made driving it in a spirited manner on any roads that you didn't know well, potentially deadly if you dared push the car's limits, I decided that despite my Porsche fandom due to the late 60's and early 70's LeMans wins, I would never own a 911. When the 928's came out, another doctor bought one. Knowing that I loved cars and racing, all the doctors seemed to enjoy showing off their new cars to the staff of the e.r., and I often got to take the new cars for a spin. The 928 was incredible; it instantly became my favorite. Far too expensive for me, though, I did manage to buy a 1986 model in 2008, finally having my dream car. I had it for the next 8 years, only selling it as arthritis made it extremely painful for me to work on it. But it supplied me with great memories of just how good a car can be.

What I find crazy was when making the NSX-R it was all about reducing weight in pursuit of better handling/performance. With the current 2017-2022 NSX having all those batteries and electric motors feels like the mindset was increasing weight to find that perfect driving experience 💀. I feel the same way too that the NA1/NA2 NSX was the pinnacle of automotive engineering 😄.

For Spoon's own NSX-R GT that crash in Macau. Spoon get spare parts in same day by borrow one from their customer's car that resident in Macau. And you can ask Spoon to upgrade you NSX to NSX-R GT with enough money due Spoon have very very good connection with Honda. (Some time Honda ask Spoon to modify their race car.)

I'm not sure the '91 Type R was more powerful especially not around 290hp. . Plus it's used the same 240cc injectors and with that on 100% load you can get 300hp maximum. So I have a doubt they used the injectors on 97-99%.
@driftindonuts
@driftindonuts Жыл бұрын
Comptech's super chargers use stock injectors and its not an issue. Installing headers on a 91' will get you just shy of 290hp so I'd say it's fairly likely with all the modifications honda did to the nsx-r it was around 290. However I could not find any official documentation from honda, my source for the video was 3rd party but I think it's likely it was more than a stock nsx. Thanks for watching!

Hey excellent video man, the 2002 na2 nsx type r is basically my ultimate dream car and it's really sad that Honda only made like 400 of those things, my question is why they made so little? I understand Japan loves to keep the good stuff to themselves but man they could of made a good few thousands of them, it's such an iconic car man, people tend not to know about it compared to how they know the rx7 FD ,r34 skyline gtr and the mk4 supra because those companies made hundreds of thousands of those cars while Honda didn't even make 500 of theirs, nsx will always remain on the top of jdm legends , great vid man
