I moved to fayetteveill about 2 years ago. 2 years ago it was an old place, but now the younger people are finding their way down here as North ATL is too congested. Since living here i've fantasized about moving to PTC, and probabnly will. Wonderful place to live here, great semi-secret

Moved here in 2014 and could kick myself for not doing it before then. Had to downsize in order to be able to afford a home however it has over doubled in value in the small amount of time that I've been here.

Has no public transportation but you can use Uber to go from point A to point B anytime anywhere.

You are so right, specialty coffee shop is here in a collective space with charcuterie, so welcomed by the community already. We love collaboration 100% percent of the time. Each shop is unique and will have their people just like other cities with multiple coffee shops in one street alone. The beauty of Java & Brie is the collaboration amongst local roasters and community concept we are building. Local micro roasters will be able to come roast in our roaster, be featured in our shop and in turn make further connections with the local coffee lovers. So thankful for the local business owners that have come and say hi and welcome like Awkward Brewing and City Cafe. Can't wait for you to come visit, it is the perfect hang out spot coffee, charcuterie, wine, cocktails, organic hair salon and boutique plus the pottery studio. We are loving it!

I live just a few miles down Tyrone Rd. from this center. I 'm concerned how this is going to have an effect on the traffic on this road and on Hwy. 54. It is suppose to take on 100 new employees. Well ,I;m sure that it will take on more than that when all is said and done. Just wonder if it will make the housing market go up in my area? My taxes, on a dirt road, have already gone up. So there is a lot of farm land across from me. I wonder if this will become at some point part of this development?

I don't know if a young couple should purchase a mobile home for financial reasons, but for a retired widow able to pay cash for one, it seems like a viable option to staying in a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2,065 sq. ft. house that is way too big for one person. I'm weighing my options even considering a tiny home, but time will tell.

A growing number of people are looking to manufactured homes since homes are so expensive. There were more pros than cons when I purchased. Since the home depreciated over time, my assessment on property tax dropped over time. When it came time for me to sell, a realtor told me it would be difficult to sell; however, I didn't even have to list it and a couple of neighbors were willing to pay cash for it rather quickly. The main con I found with mine is that it started needing things repaired and replaced when it reached 5 yrs and every year thereafter. More things fell apart quicker for repair than my traditional home.

🤣😂 1. You should by a home💕❤️ not an investment. 2. It's better to pay taxes on your land and minimal taxes on your manufacturer home (totally outweighs your tax break). 3. Having a custom manufacturer home takes less time then other new builds. 4. You won't get into a bidding war and/or no one will outbid you as it's a direct sell. 5. There are several loan companies that specializes in manufacturer homes, all wanting your business. There's lots more but you get the point 😉

They only depreciate if they are in a mobile home community, they appreciate when on a foundation.

Not where I live. 1980's moblie homes on 1 acre lots go from $300k to $450k. And they are old used and beat up..

No they don't deprecate, you should see some of the prices in NJ, same tax breaks, 30 year mortgages etc, also our home was built in a development the same way you would buy a home. and last but not least who the heck is this women with what she is saying

All this high density housing with absolutely zero attention paid to our roads. What could go wrong? Our politicians suck.

Traffic which is already bad will become impossible. You never hear how traffic will be handled, just how much more development is coming.
