Dielectric grease "does not" conduct electricity, it is an insulator. It is intended to keep moisture and contaminants out of electrical components. It is counter intuitive to apply it to the contact points of terminals.

Is there a reason why you did not flash the wood buck? I'm getting ready to install windows in masonry and noticed most of the videos I watched used a liquid flash that covered the bucks. This could be overkill, I don't know, I'm not a builder, but I'm just a DIYer trying to learn the best way to go about performing the install. thanks for your time.

Use liquid flash if you have it. I did not but probably should have. I have no trouble with the rain the way I did it. So it is up to you and whatever codes you can find to decide on what you feel is necessary. Thanks!

You should have voltage on both sides. Just like a fuse. If voltage is only one side then the fuse is open(blown). I believe that is what I meant.

I have the exact same table saw. It stopped working in the middle of a cut. I tried the reset button, but it's just kind of loose. It won't reset. Did I trip a breaker, blow a fuse, or burn up the motor? Please advise. Thanks
@SteveAZ71128 күн бұрын
Sorry to hear that. I have no idea. It may be a bad reset button. If the motor was smoking then you may have a bad motor. Is the outlet working that the saw is plugged into? I would check that with a lamp or other plug in device.

Change the module. You may have an injector or fuel issue. When running rough try squirting some starter fluid into the intake and see if the motor smoothest out and diagnose from there.

I made both my wheels straight. My steering wheel was straight and even ,and the ends of the rack were equal on both sides. I then connected it to the steering column. You may need an alignment afterwards. I did not. Thanks.

So first I wanna say thank you for this video because I could actually see what you were doing and I can change my blades by myself now. Thanks in advance to whoever answers this.

Both wiper blades are the same size 18in. for the front. They are of the beam type (factory looking original). There is a much smaller blade that goes on the rear window. Make sure that you purchased the correct blades. If you have an original you can show it to the parts person to match you up correctly. Thanks for the nice comment!

These cars... the design was somewhat admirable, you wouldn't BELIEVE the crap I could cram into the back of mine: entire kitchen base cabinets, 5.5x3 windows, 110 sq ft of bundles of oak flooring; I SLEPT comfortably in the back of mine on several trips between my home and my kids' homes 1000+ miles away in places like rural Utah, Idaho and Oregon where there were literally NO HOTELS. When I went to buy the said window off Facebook Marketplace the seller told me some story about stuffing a 8-point buck into the back of one on a hunting trip w/her grandpa in 2010. But, sadly, they're Chevy's. So the under-the-hood elements and everything else about them are literal CRAP. And the gas mileage is laughable for the size they are. Too bad, so sad.

Maybe a relay or fuse or a broken wire.

@@SteveAZ711 You know, it was a mystery for sure. I went ahead and just bought a new bulb, even though it appeared to be working. It solved the problem!!! I'm thinking, the bulb was on the way out and was only partially working or as you thought, a relay was broken. I asked about a fuse issue and was told that none of the lights would work if it was a fuse.
@m.merriman76922 ай бұрын
Just did this on a 2002 Astro. 13mm for bolts through the starter housing. Breaker bar, short wobble extension. Was able to wiggle starter fully loose but hold off on that til you have the following handy: 13mm and 8mm for the nuts on the electrical posts. I recommend a penetrating oil, 13mm box wrench, and 8mm deep socket. Wiggle starter out and around and 13mm box wrench to break, then finger loosen. Then the 8mm can zip off quickly with a deep socket.

Hello in 2024. I also am in Arizona, Apache county to be exact. Yes wind and dirt/dust are a real problem especially when the obligatory dust devil comes ripping through and they always do, almost lost the hood on the 87 that I am doing the wheel cylinder on while changing the spark plugs. That rear spark plug on the 351 driver side rear is a real treat to get done, I have found that it is done blind by feel. Thanks for the video and I wanted to say that once the brake line is loose and exposed wrap a piece of cloth over the end and hold it on with a rubber band or hair tie to keep all the nasty stuff out. Thanks for the video, I have not done one of these in 21 years and needed to be refreshed concerning the ins and outs of the job. Wish it went as fast as your video, lol. Take care ✌️

Thanks so much! Yep most of the 351 / 400's rear plugs are by feel. I am lucky to have long arms...same reach as Ali by the way. Anyway, I use my own videos as a refresher when it comes to wiper blades and once a year oil changes ( drive very little...memory isn't as good as it used to be. However, I am doing a 4l60e GM trans rebuild at the moment. I will post some of my issues as soon as I get everything back together. Lucky those dust devils are not tornados. Thanks again!
