Het is waar, er zijn veel meer vrouwen actief in onze samenleving. Gelukkig maar. Qui vivra, verra pleegde onze goede papa altijd te zeggen. Onze samenleving is heel divers.

The design of the shell suitcase is great but the zipper broke on the first trip and samsonite didn't cover it with their horrendous warranty. I switched to garbage bags. They are more affordable.

Hi! I enjoyed your videos, but it seems like your engagement and views could use a boost. This may be due to SEO problems like unoptimized tags or descriptions. I’d be happy to offer a free audit. Let me know if you’re interested!

Consumerism. There is consumerism in the target group of people that can afford high end garments and there is consumerism in the target group of people who can only afford fast fashion. The first group can afford anything and the second group can only afford dirty cheap stuff but they are enticed into buying lots of surplus stuff that has a very short life cycle. If the economical system doesn't change, there's not much that fashion producers can do. They could slow down the fashion merry-go-round and reduce the number of collections, they can produce sustainable garments and that's it. They can produce in their home countries, they can sell the garments at real prices. Two things would have to happen to shut down fast fashion. First people in the low income strata have to earn more money and second there must be restrictions for the import of fast fashion so that it gets too expensive for the low quality at the same time fashion producers would have to venture into this market and offer sustainable items at lower prices, these would be much more expensive than fast fashion but when people have more disposable income for garments of good design and quality they would spend less money in the long run. Politicians and economists would have to support this change in the production of clothes. National fashion producers and organizations that represent the designers and manufacturers should make an effort to explain to people what makes good quality garments and what are the real costs. They should openly campaign for compressing the income situation of the population: a powerful boost in wages for the low strata, no boosts for the well earning strata.

Half a year ago I scored a lovely split skirt in a lovely vintageshop.I had to retail the item, make it smaller and in the meantime make pockets in it. Pockets are so important to me. And zips on the back, I hate it, zips at the back, its so unfeministic, I mean why should I feel so lonely trying to zip the thing up myself, wrestling with it unti; I got cramps, and somewhere I hear this hoarse sexy voive asking this hunky guy 'will you zip me up dsrling? Ggggrrrr., it's crazy. I prefer zips at the side or in front, zap zip me up.. But that's not what I wanted to say: I love my lovely subtle coloured skirt and wear it often, and I love the new comfy pockrts in it and the fact that it's ever so durable and sustainable that way.. It's our own responsability too.

why does John Galliano sold his own brand?
@ladyjunon63052 жыл бұрын
While Galliano gained the attention of the press, he never had the most stable business. His jobs at Givenchy and Dior gave him a steadier income and when LVMH offered to invest in his eponymous brand in an attempt to make it grow, he happily accepted. By the time of his firing, he was more or less an employee at his own company. He was replaced by Bill Gaytten who never really caught the attention of the press' or the buyers' and the label's last collection was in 2018.

How did you do it? Maybe your family's fabric industry involvement helped? Your dad's clothing shop? Your granddad's tailor shop? Maybe they got that first menswear line going?

@ladyjunon63052 жыл бұрын
Even with the background in clothing, it's still very difficult as the world of high fashion comes with a completely different set of norms and expectations compared a local clothing and tailor shop.
