Beautiful bike! I had a 1972 XLCH in the same color, sparkling burgundy that I bought new that year. For some reason I still remember the purchase price, $2284.45 with tax. I have great memories of that bike and time.

My first harely was a 73 Sporty Iron head. Work on it all week just to be able to ride it on weekends. The Starter Generator Sucked.

I replaced my Buck Horns with Drag bars.

I like the seat. Mine is slamed. That seat would work well. I have forward peddles.

Had one in the 70s. You had to know the exact starting procedure. Also had to keep the Rs up at night to see!

Bought a new one just like this for $2900. Owensboro Harley-Davidson. Glen Edwards, salesman. The factory left off the primary cover gasket, which I had replaced, the next day. Kept it about 5 years...sweet ride.

Beautiful 54 with the super rare 6 hole pans & dual exhaust. That seat, cabbage cutter, exhaust tips & cigarette lighter are all wild 👍👍 The bags are incredible.

the straight pipe of the back cylinder needs to go below the gear box because of different pipe lengths not good in this case here you lose engine power

do not let it iddle for to long unless you have changed the original oil pump to a aftermarket one..........
