Stirring the yogurt breaks up the protein network and releases the retained whey. So you get less yogurt.

Interesting that you didn't turn the slow cooker back on. I was expecting you to put it on warm, but you just left it off and sitting on the counter and it still worked.

That is why we sealed it and covered it in towels. It kept the crockpot warm.

I have a question. Do you put the yogurt at 180°c o °farenheit? Im from Venezuela and allways i have Made It with 50°c but this would be perfecto because i could use my multifuncional cooker in the slow cooker option because It doesnt have the yogurt option but with these recipe i could try. Please tell me if Is °c o farentheit and sorry for my bad english 😢😢😢

Oh no, you are using a stirrer with a wooden handle, fail. Wood is always contaminated with bacteria, viruses, fungi, foreign non-organic debris. Never use wood.

Ummm...with both the non-fat dry milk and the yogurt starter, mixing them into a small amount of milk to dissolve them and then adding them into the larger amount of milk is MUCH easier to get them to incorporate...kind of like making a rue or gravy.

Container planting is discouraged due to asparagus’ extensive root systems, which can go down three feet. When planted in the ground, asparagus will be perfectly hardy in Rock Springs.

In this video we used regular chicken, but you can substitute that with canned chicken or any other canned meat!
