4 sirens in hurst are not working, Melbourne and Springhill. Karla and Cheryl partially worked. Difficult things to say but the city is signing with Whelen and Ed’s Electric Service that if the system fails by mid 2025, it’s going to be replaced.

That suuuuucks big time! I managed to get to the southern one today on Hurst blvd and Rickel Park and it worked. Talked to the city guy after and he said that today all except one worked, so here's hoping they can keep these running!

I have no idea why I was recommended this... But this is really cool! What are these siren systems used for, like natural disasters? We don't really have them commonly (at least here in Sydney Australia) so I'm genuinely interested! Great video, love the jump at the start hahaha 😅

Mostly for fires and really bad storms/tornadoes.

Primarily for tornadoes but also high winds and large hail, as well.

marshall has one (it used to have three originally, one was replaced with a T-135 ACDC, the other replaced by a 2001). Paris has 4, but two of them recently failed. Segoville has a T-135AC (Just a P-50 under ASC's branding)
