FYI Cutting vinyl is easy if you use knifeless tape, from 3M for example. Just design your outline with the tape, put your vinyl on top, pull the string of the tape and your vinyl has the perfect shape.

Had a 15 year break from bikes at one point. Bought a mint xr500, thinking it would be just like old times. Learnt very quickly when it comes to dirtbikes that it is best to leave nostalgia in the past. Embrace modernity. I ride a modern bike now, 50kg lighter, more power, better suspension, better brakes. I have no desire to ride old bikes offroad. If you are looking to rekindle your dirtbiking past and came across this vid, skip. Buy yourself a modern machine and never look back.

There are plenty of vintage motorcycles that are reliable. I personally don’t dig the build, and would get more satisfaction from referbing and bulletproofing an actual vintage bike …. But whatever makes you happy is what is important

well, 1100 Bucks is not possible....here where I live you have to put 2000€ on the table for a xt500 you have to rebuild completely. a bike like yours would be around 5000€. and....nearly no option to ever go off-road without being hit by a thrown hammer from a farmer or hunter.

Thanks! It has held up great. We have used it 10 to 15 times per year and several 5 day trips on desert rivers. No issues and it performs just as well as my friends much more expensive boat. Would recommend

Hey Terry, we don't have any dealers in MT yet, If you know of a good shop let us know and we'll give them a call. Otherwise, you can always order online, we'll drop it off to your doorstep anywhere in the U.S. Just requires a little bit of assembly out of the box like the handlebars, front wheel and swingarm bolt. Let me know if you have any questions:)

I guess it’s cool, but honestly, I think it ruins your motorcycle but inevitably it’s your motorcycle and you can do what you want to it. Have a great day. 🤘🏻☘️🇺🇸⚡️⚡️

An Air cooled engine with fins would have made it look like a vintage bike, this looks like a New bike with old fender parts... Should have started with an Suzuki DR 650 or Honda XR 650 that has carburetors and air cooled engines ,they still have the "Old School" parts right from the showrooms today.
