Megadeth and Metallica are much bigger than these guys and Anthrax, for example. Why? It's obviously the vocals. Mustaine and Hetfield have interesting, distinct voices (especially Mustaine), but they aren't quite as "80s" and "reverby" and "screechy" as Overkill and Anthrax. That's why. I'm telling you. It's true. Plus, Megadeth and Metallica eventually wrote songs with catchier choruses, which they did much better than metalcore bands do these days. Metalcore bands just put pop song choruses right in the middle of their metal verses. Very strange.
