just got this and the letters on the keys are fading after not even an hour of use, wouldn't recommend tbh. for almost $50 can get better options

That's really disappointing to hear. My son has been using it the better part of 2 years and didn't have that issue. That sucks. I've actually swapped it out as well for a Ducky One 3 TKL (Ten Keyless) keyboard as one of his gifts. The silent keys are nicer and it being smaller will be good for when he goes to college.

What this video, I think fails to mention, What if your motherboard Get bricked, EitherBy doing a bios update that went totally wrong, Or, Your motherboard just goes DOA on you. How would one recover encrypted data From that drive on a new motherboard. Plus what if you encrypt the data And your TPM moduleTakes a dive and stops working,That is why I will neverHave a system with windows 11, Nor would I ever encrypt the data on that drive, Because I can get screwed right Microsoft, So then who becomes liable, Microsoft should become liable because they're forcing that TPM module on people who really don't want it and who don't care for it who don't like it, It's like trying to shove easy pass down our throats.

I had a combo with a R5 5500GT and Asus TUF A520m-Plus wifi. I upgraded this rig to the 5700x3d. Recently a relative of mine needed an upgrade for his office PC. So I will sell him the 5500GT, Asus TUF A520 motherboard and 16GB of RAM. This gave me an excuse to order a B550 motherboard. To get the benefits of Gen.4 pcie and that extra M.2 slot. So I have ordered the MSI B550M Pro-VDH WIFI. Did it thanks to videos like this. Seems like a quality motherboard for a nice price.

Based on articles I've read, it should be capable of cooling the 5700X, but if you want more cooling performance Thermalright also makes a dual-tower for under $40 that is super well regarded by users and reviewers alike called the Peerless Assassin: amzn.to/422YCTZ Either choice will work and both are very affordable.

I have this case. It's on its 3rd build. Soon it will have its 4th. Several years ago I had another cube type case that I built 2 different systems into. Then I got another cube type case and then another...until I got the HAF XB EVO - which is the best since it's the only one that was for an ATX mobo. Now there are no new cube cases to be had. I love the cube case because: 1. the mobo lays flat at the bottom of the case allowing the components' heat to rise up and not excessively heat other surrounding components. This case has a 200 mm ceiling mounted fan to suck out the heat fast. 2. The GPU is vertical and its heat goes out the back and directly vertical - not heating up the CPU in any significant way. I don't need water cooling at all. 3. The CPU is air cooled and its heat is instantly exhausted out the case so no heat builds up ever inside the case. 4. It allows full ATX PSU. 5. Wiring/cabling isn't a challenge. 6. It's half the height of a "normal" case. 7. It's about 2x as wide as a "normal case. Overall the "normal" case creates so may heat-confining issues that it makes no sense to me why this is the standard. The ONLY advantage to that design is in space where it sits. That isn't an issue for me and would not likely be for many. This design could be further refined but it's great as it is. It could be made of aluminum for lightness and further heat dissipating qualities. The top "roof" panel could be a bit higher to allow for thicker 200mm fans. The front-to-back dimension could be longer to allow for extra long GPUs (but I've gotten 322mm gpus in there with a few mm to spare. For an enthusiast pc builder this is great. Why fight all the heat and airflow issues of cases that are oriented to create these problems in the first place. Please, someone, bring back the cube case design.

You can use motherboard software (name of software is dependent on motherboard), OpenRGB, SignalRGB, or if your case has it, use a button on your case when connecting to an RGB hub.

Great question. Yes, but only if you have really good airflow in the case. You might want to invest about 20 more bucks in a dual tower CPU cooler like the Thermalright Phantom Spirit: amzn.to/4gh74TU This has gotten rave reviews from people -- customers, and YT reviewers alike.

I had this same problem, make sure you have some sort of storage device connected to your motherboard via m2 slot or sata, then download windows 10/11 on to a flash drive and plug it into the correct usb drive as stated by the motherboard.

Nothing is future proof. AM4 is more or less a dead platform in that there will be no more CPUs for that socket, at least that's what AMD has said even though they keep releasing new 5000 series CPUs. Is it a budget option? Yes. AM4 CPUs still perform well and will continue to do so, but AM5 CPUs are better. If you're looking for a platform with longevity you want AM5 motherboards, cpus, and DDR5.

Same. The speaker beeped 5 times, which indicates cpu issues. I plugged an hdmi to a display from the mobo, and it went away. I went ahead and updated the bios anyway. I have not progressed any further though.

Yes no you’ll need to update the bios. Odds are if yours is older then it won’t have compatibility for newer CPUs.

the problem is not just the lights; it's the power it eats up over the course of a year. I like the lights at times but it's extremely unnecessary and so annoying to turn off on the fly!
