I need your help. Could you please create a video or clarify the following scenario? If we use the moving average costing method for inventory, and the inward material (tracked by lot) is moving out based on the FIFO method. Consider the following example: GRN 1 (Lot #1) - 100 units at $10 each GRN 2 (Lot #2) - 200 units at $20 each GRN 3 (Lot #3) - 300 units at $15 each GRN 4 (Lot #4) - 100 units at $11 each After these four GRNs, I sold 300 units. According to the FIFO method of inventory movement, Lots #1 and #2 are fully consumed. Could you please explain the resulting product cost after this transaction?

Hi @ltcompany9543! In inFlow, you can choose only one costing method, you cannot have both moving average and FIFO. If you're using the FIFO method and the first 300 units are sold, the cost of the next units to be sold will be $15, as the following 300 units were purchased at that price. If you're referring to the moving average costing method, the cost calculation for items in GRN 3 and GRN 4 would be: (300 units × $15) + (100 units × $11) = 4500 + 1100 = 5600/400 = $14 I hope this clears things up! Hello juddandrewuy9995! If you buy and sell an item in sacks but store it in different units, make sure to use the proper sales and purchase units of measure (e.g., 1 sack = 25 mini sacks/kg/etc.). You don't need to have different SKUs for them. Can you use multiple scanners at the same time? I want to track 10 employees who take parts and chemicals from my shop every morning. They are all at the shop at the same time so Id like each one to have their own scanner that tells me what they took from the shop.

hi there! great question. You will need to setup your Xero account first before connecting with inFlow. When inFlow pushes the invoices it can create the products for you inside XERO, but your other details like Taxes, and Accounts you want to use will all need to be setup in Xero first before making the connection! ^PT

Thanks for the video. I'm only interested in having quantity be synced between the two product and not transfer orders over. Can that be the only integration? I want Shopify to know how much stock there is from InFlow. I didn't see an option to turn off order sync.

Question regarding the use of the bundle feature in inFlow when you enable the automatic creation and completion of the manufacturing order when you fulfill a purchase order : how can your warehouse employee scan the full picking list to make sure they have every item for the bundle if the manufacturing order is already all picked and completed automaticly ? In other words : how do you make sure the BOM is fully honored without even scanning ?

In regard to your question, can you confirm if you meant "the automatic creation and completion of the manufacturing order when you fulfill a SALES(?) order"? If so, as long as your BoM is set properly for the 'bundled item', your employees will not need to scan each specific component of the bundle into the Manufacturing Order. If this automatic creation of the MO setting is turned on, once you have picked the 'bundled item' on the Sales Order, there will be a pop-up to advise that a Manufacturing Order was created. You can then click the pop-up to head to that MO directly and check if the quantities are correct. Is there a way to account for it selling in person vs. online? For example: I sell online, but I also do in-person events. Trying to find a way to keep track of inventory when I bring it to events instead of manually writing down each thing.

Hey Heather, One solution to this is to set up different 'Locations' for your inventory. Once you have done that, you can set the Main Location on a Sales Order so that the order can deduct stock from your selection, once the order has been picked/fulfilled.
