Today Feb 2nd, 2025 took me back 50 Yrs + back. In small town America, in E Tex a March was going on. Gotta tell you I was in a bad place bc I was in tears from being proud and tears of heartbreak. All ages, shades of my BROWN, males & females holding up their protest sign. My tears were also a prayer to Our LORD & SAVIOR for each person there to be protected. I KNEW in my heart & mind, at that time why I participated, I had seen, heard, experienced of the injustice against 'my People', and yes I was only one person that may not be able to change the worlds opinion but may be with others I could be heard. It is a hard walk, a lesson never forgotten, experiences that changed my life. Yet, here we are 50 yrs + later in a the worse place where fear, anger, rage has taken has raised it's pathetic spirit again. I pray safety & Peace for all suffering thru is period of deportation. I thought of this song bc it was Little Joe's song that was that help thru our 'protest walk-outs, marches in different parts of Houston Texas, Cali's LA marches.
