Very good video ... Thanks for posting. BH bows ar awesome shooters! You don't have to spend a lot of money for a really good bow. As a matter of fact I have about 9 bows ( 7 others I have made.) and I have never paid more than $110 for any of them. Thanks again for the video & God bless!

Yes that Black Hunter bow is my favorite wooden recurve bow to shoot. It's deceptive, because it doesn't look like much, but it shoots blindingly fast for a wooden recurve bow. There's something about the geometry of that bow that really powers an arrow.

Great video, thanks for the lesson! I just bought my first bow, I'm waiting it to arrive. I would like to ask, is a 19lb bow too weak to start?

it's amazing how many people don't even think about string blur/ string picture. Like you I lineup my string down the centre of the riser and i feel it's critcal for consistent grouping. its the reason i shoot with a neon yellow bowstring, it stands out really well against my riser.

Yeah, you are correct. I use a high visibility serving for the same purpose. I take for granted many archery basics that most don't know about since they simply haven't put the thousands and thousands of hours that I have over the past 35 years. I'm going to make a few more shorts with tips that I consider essential whenever I'm at the range.

PS, great idea for saddle hunters. The aider looks pretty sketchy hanging the open ends onto the straight bars. I would be concerned about jolting one loop of the aider off of the horizontal bar while climbing up, but maybe I'm just being paranoid. Also, you mentioned that the WLL of the cordage you were using was only 265 lbs., so if you tie a knot in it, we have to consider that the WLL is reduced 50% to 132.5 lb. If you use 6mm cordage made by Sterling, New England Ropes, Blue Water Ropes, etc., the WLL will be around 1,888 lbs. (8.4 kN), so a knot will still give you a reasonable safety factor. These manufacturer's ropes are CE and UIAA certified, so you'll know that their rating is legitimate. Just a suggestion.

Yeah, there is a trade - off between lightness and safety. Currently, I am using the three step belt ladder for the bottom step only, but as I become more accustomed to it, I will start using one on my second step. But, personally, I would never use the three step ladder in the top step. Thanks for the climbing rope safety tip. In my mind, I was thinking that the paracord might become dangerous under frigid conditions in the late season. So, I'll have another safety certified rope by then. But for the time being, the battle cord is holding up well.

Yeah, the weather has been whacky recently. The snow around here often has a really hard surface to it (almost like a white mirror) and becomes hard, crusty and brittle.

Unfortunately, all of the 10xx series Nvidia Graphics cards are very problematic. Setting them up is currently beyond my knowledge. I'm passing along this thread because it may help and proves the difficulty of the 10xx series cards. The user "Dolphin" seems to know how to set up these cards, however, I unfortunately, don't. egpu.io/forums/expresscard-mpcie-m-2-adapters/egpu-works-initially-and-then-cuts-out/paged/2/#post-104031

Yeah, and it was amazing how fast the park rangers took it down. 8 also found it noteworthy that a second structure was created exactly where those two logs are leaning at the end of the video. (I'm the full minute video). It's quite obvious that there is a definite psychic connection between me and the Sasquatch People.

That is very interesting. Humans do imitate structures, but that looks like one of these classic backbone structures that I have found many times that are also documented in Chris Noel’s book about Sasquatch structures. I must commend you on this one. Very interesting to bring this to the table and thank you for the viewing. I just love to see a new structure.

Yes, they do certainly live around here. I think that used to feel sorry for me in past years when I would spend endless days deer hunting and looking at relativity blank scenery. I really think they felt sorry for my lack of deer hunting success and dropped by just to say, "Hello", a couple of times.

Fantastic! I wish more information was offered about how close the houses are. Is this patch of woods surrounded by houses or is this a border of a large wooded area edged by human residences?

Good question. It is a forested park near some suburbs. I have asked kids playing in the area as well as adults who regularly walk through the area if they have ever seen anyone build these structures and the answer has always been, "No". Regardless of who built these structures, I appreciate them. If I had to guess, I'd say it's the locals. Now, how one defines, " the locals", is a different matter... 🦍

I have been out of the EGPU loop for quite some time. All of the information I got was from the EGPU.Io web site. Here is a direct link : egpu.io/ My EliteBook does not have a Thunderbolt connection option. So,used the Express Card Slot along with an adapter that I had to purchase separately to make he connection to my external EPU unit. I also had to purchase a power supply unit designed to work with the GPU car that I wanted to use. The most difficult part of the whole process was creating a DSDT override that was necessary for the synchronization of all the parts of the whole. Another tip I can offer is to be careful with Windows automatic updates. Quite often the updates will shut down your EGPU unit. So, putting a stop to the automatic Windows Updates will prevent a lot of strife in the future. Read about which updates are functional with your EGPU unit and which are not. Again, all of this info can be obtained from the web eb site. egpu.io/

Nice buck and congrats! Changing the subject matter back to your video of 3 months ago. Your thoughts or opinions are pretty good regarding our government and sasquatch. It seems to be a Common Thread starting to surface when watching and listening to other videos from around North America. Once she realized that these ancient beings are here and creating Forest artwork you start to notice things in a different light whether it's hiking walking or driving a vehicle down the road. Our eyes become wide open and skepticals logic gets grown out the window. The wind does not do this building structures, the Boy Scouts of America are not building structures for thier Eagle badge and bushcrafters are not out there building structures to sleep in, in these areas of our Forest... Great finds and Nice buck!
@PennsylvaniaSasquatch
@PennsylvaniaSasquatch 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I do appreciate it. I think taking that buck with archery equipment on public land was the hardest thing that I have ever done. There is a new structure in a new patch of forest that is just waiting to be documented... Getting good audio is my next goal because during the fall hunting season of 2019 on two separate occasions, I heard Sasquatch vocals loud and clear in the early morning hours. They were screaming and chattering just like the vocals that Mike Patterson has captured. But, the difficult part is that these vocals seem to most prevelant between about 3 and 5 am in the morning. In order to hear them and in order to get recordings, an audio recorder has to be in the vicinity of the vocalizations and powered on at the right time. It's a miracle that Mike has been able to do this! But, I have now made it a habit to have my recorder powered on as soon as I step out of my vehicle during these early morning hunts. Because, I missed recording a Sasquatch jamboree back in 2019 that would have been a lifetime achievement. The Sasquatch sounded off as soon as I exited my vehicle and I couldn't get my recorder powered up and turned on fast enough! The Sasquatch were having a jamboree party, but quickly shushed up as soon as they heard the me get out of my truck. Maybe someday it will all come together and I'll be able to post it online. And so I pray...
