I'm playing in 4.0.1, I picked up a risky salvage mission. The Vulture never showed up after the 1 hour timer ran out. I only had 3x UEE Avenger Titans show up.

Does this still work in 4.0.1

I don't know if this is new or not, just tried to jump to pyro for the first time today. I had to stop at the station and buy a jump module Before it would let me jump.

0:12 4.0 Preview IS a complete version of 4.0, it is just in "preview" status. There will be no new features in 4.0 if it changes status from "preview" to "Live". Some features may be added in 4.0.X, but then it will be not 4.0

Right now i wish i could just CHOOSE to play the game. 4.0 is dismal. Any amount of time that i CAN get in and "play" is dashed when I'm killed by my ATLS or fall out of my vehicle mid jump. Or when my transit train says "let's go to the heart of the planet!" Or when I'm hungry or thirsty and can't access my inventory! Ready to spawn a ship? Cool! Empty hangar pad, now i gotta claim my ship and waste more time that i don't have.. I started in 3.17. 3.18 was tough but i soldiered on. This is 100x worse for me. I haven't taken this long off a break from SC since i started playing. It's my favorite game, my happy place even. But I'm so ungodly sour about this rn... i get in my ship, try to leave hangar. Ship blows up because invisible things. Takes forever for me to fight to where i can do a mission. I have had a 95% failure rate for any kind of mission due to things disappearing, etc... i can't win rn And i can't complain! There's too many complaints, I'm just lost in the murk. I have faith they'll make it better than it is, but it needs to happen soon.

Well thanks for the information. I don't think I'll find myself interesting in factions at all until they offer unique things to those that have good rep with them. I'm talking exclusive ships, weapons, components, and armor. Until then they still seem a bit pointless to me.

not interested in PVP or any fighting at all. they can live in Pyro, natural selection will move pve players somewhere else.... the problem starts when someone unwanted cross the line

At this moment I'm playing other games. SC is garbage, 4.0 was over hyped, and CIG has NO ethics.

I'd choose the one with the best Reputation System perks. What's that? CIG got Server Meshing and a Pyro that was 6 years late ready before the Rep System? CIG's a mess.

At the moment I'm just exploring pyro because for me pyro's contracts don't work 80% if of the time, so I am stuck in Stanton for money making. My bread and butter are cargo contracts at moment, and those very broken in pyro.

So as a new player, what's the point of doing all these if things will bug out as a result of CIG's malpractice?

Same, they both bring up good points in different ways. Which I enjoy because there's no clear good side. Even CFP has a Mafia vibe by killing so-called incident/civilian (cant remember the exact description) Headhunters.

Where to find a The Pulse to rent? Does it comes with repeaters? I only found dragonfly but it came with balistics that runs out way too soon, is there a way to change for repeaters?

As standalone abilities... some traits are okay, and the rest are just bad. They barely affect how you play the game. However, because there are so many skills to upgrade and (spoilers) to unlock, viewing the traits as just "flavor" for your character is a better way to look at them. The game would only be a smidgeon different if the traits didn't even exist.

I love the intrepid. Stealth load out, upgrade gun, you mentioned two good guns. 1v1 is good, 1v2 is pushing it. 1v3 is run and live to fight another day. One Engine is out, Run and live to fight another day. The flight is really good, the acceleration is top notch and leaves other ships in the dust. Its basically a good runner so you can control the engagements and pick your fights. As for cargo, yes it is limited and 8scu split is not good. But this ship is more of a smuggler ship rather then a cargo runner. Oblivion paint is perfect, so is the new Nocturnal paint. I hated this ship when it first came out and fell in love with it that i had to add it to my account. It also has Star Wars feels on this ship. Hull HP really saved me one time when I was ambushed. Hull HP plus the acceleration along with some maneuvers to avoid fire from the other player and I was gone! Went to a star port and was able to repair quickly and continue my journey. Thus far I have 4 days of surviving combat, bunkers and outposts. The best part of the ship is its cargo bays. Getting armor and weapons in quickly on the cargo grid is fantastic. Limit yourself to Extra Small Cargo runs for extra money and your good to go. There are better choices but if you love being the slick smuggler, gun runner, armor runner, then this ship might suit you like it does me. Its actually become my favorite thing to do at the moment. Fly this ship and get into situations.

Only soft death cargo ships I found in that mission is the cats. Freelancers and MSRs always were live and able to be flown away. I had no idea that hover bikes were invisible. Love that even if the bikes are invisible the NPC will just sit and get blown up though. SC NPCs at their peak. Phase 2 is about as easy as a mission can be as well. You just pick the eliminate operative mission, fly to location and shoot him from ship as he stands out in the middle of an outpost. Phase 3 is the only difficult mission. When it works it is a good time. Phase 4 was by far the easiest cargo mission of Save Stanton to game. Grab the cheapest payout mission, go to seraphim and get 6x 2scu hydro, get maybe an extra 4x 1scu hydro. Then get the same of Helium. Then travel to Magnus and get the same of Bexalite. Take it all to Pyro gateway and store in your warehouse. Then select that cheapest mission for Phase 4, should pay 36k UEC. Call up the amount needed on the mission, then send it right back down. Mission respawns in less than 2 minutes. Just repeat.
