Hi there! Here is a link to a document by the Australian DVA www.dva.gov.au/sites/default/files/20824180e-work-health-and-safety-management-arrangements-october2020.pdf as an example. Professor Rob Orr at Bond University has a long list of publications exploring health and safety issues in tactical populations, so you could check out his work at www.linkedin.com/in/rob-orr-41075870/. Good luck with your assignment!

This is WRONG! A driver as employee of an operator is NOT any part of the CoR! Cor is part of NVNL. Drivers have separate obligations in HVNL.

Consultation is BS the employer consults with the employee but at the end of the day the Employer does exactly everything it wants. Covid was the prime example because when we boycoted the poison vaccination they just said NO JAB NO JOB> All bunch of pricks and stick your consultation where the sun doesnt shine because all it does is a charade and a time waster for the employee so that the employer can tick their compliance boxs.

Because of work place and safety australia forcing experimental medical procedures onto their employees for compliance reasons not for peoples healh or safety it has now caused major metal health issues. WH& have alot to answer for and are just a bunch of hypocritical pricks.

How does injury risk assessment ratings go down over time? Once the rating is "set" does that mean a broken arm is always a broken arm? This is what I believe is holding me back : 11 years ago I sprained my back and had a final number of 70/100 (high being bad). So it was a problem while it lasted and I have since healed, but my risk assessment rating has not changed. It seems to follow your model as being "set" and never will go down. How can I lower my risk assessment rating after healing? What do I need to do, who do I talk to?
@momentumsafetyandergonomic8061
@momentumsafetyandergonomic8061 3 жыл бұрын
Here we are talking about task, or situational risk assessments. I think you are referring to personal risk assessment (not sure from who or where), but the principle would be the same. It is not to do with what happened but a combination of consequence and likelihood at any given point in time.

Hello! I'm from Brazil. I'm a Health and Safety Engineer and I would like to know if in Australian this kind of Engineer is considered as a Civil Engineer when it comes to apply a Visa. Thank you very much
@danintheoutback1
@danintheoutback1 3 жыл бұрын
Australia does have the equivalent of a “Health and Safety engineer”. We have Health & Safety Officers, consultants and representatives. And is not considered part of the Civil Engineering field. I would apply to join a company first, as they will help you with your visa application. There are many mining companies here in Australia, that hire many Brazilian people. I personally have a lot of Brazilian colleagues.
