the granite is a monster truck so is going to roll more on corners. Depending on what surface your going to be running the cars on i'd consider the arrma senton or infraction

Wich one would you recomend to buid for a begginner, this one or a tamiya grasshopper or the frog?
@Granite-City-RCАй бұрын
The tamiya would be a less frustrating build then this one. Tamiya have better instructions and less confusing to build if your not use to kits. If you want the Absima i'd just buy the RTR one then maybe change the motor for a brushless one

I’m honestly shocked a 500 dollar hobby grade rc doesn’t have channel reversing. Pretty standard on most car, truck, plane, heli rc’s.

its set up like a real excavator so i guess they thought people would be fine with how it works ?

Nice, good to know how to access the inner circuit board. Wanting to switch the boom wires so it lowers with down input on controller.
@Granite-City-RC2 ай бұрын
just make sure you swap the right ones lol
@VetteWay2Fast2 ай бұрын
The boom motor ones are fairly straightforward, it’s the green plug. Works great and now reversed but need to figure out which wires are the limiter cutoffs so they work with the motor direction being reversed. No diagrams online unfortunately

I'm currently building this as a first build and it's hot garbage. Same missing screws, horrendous instructions. Thanks for the videos, though, I needed to know that it wasn't just me!
@Granite-City-RC3 ай бұрын
LOL it is a pain to build, i think by the end of the build videos i say don't bother getting the kit , just buy the RTR and swap out the motor and servo. i mean if somone gave me to option to eith build it again or take a drill to the head, pass me the drill i'll do it myself. I built a TRX4 sport a little while back and that was such a joy to build. Even tamiya are are great to build, i mean, they aren't great cars , and its hard finding where the screws are in the 20 packs or random hardware they give you, but you can build it without wanting to to pull you eyes out lol

@@vitororsatti5552 the will look exactly the same on the outside. I can only guess the most will be V4 now as this was a couple years back when i madethe video. But if it does not have proportional controls then it's V3. If it has proportional steering / acceleration then it is V4 . I don't know if it says on the box which version it is , but worth looking just in case .
