They are also on the ledges of the bridge tho lol, there's just a very thin sliver on the very edge that the trigger doesn't hit, it's relatively precise

It's a pretty hard skip. You can't have all of Mario on the ledge. That's why the setup requires Mario half on and half off the ledge

They’re playing on an emulator. Not all of them display shadows properly.

Yeah the best set up I've seen was 2 long jumps towards the first window to the right then you should be straightened out to jump along the bridge.

@@PowuhToSeven yes, and there is also a setup where you can slide off the hill on the right side where you start the game (the strat most TAS videos use)
