Key to enjoying Philippines is to go with the flow and talk, joke around with the locals. Filipinos are so friendly and outgoing. Forget comparisons to the West.

nah, definately spend longer time in each country mate. Just spent 14 months in Thailand, 1 year rental was cheap. Moved on to Vietnam, wasnt asked any questions at customs. This might change in 2025 as Thailand implements the taxation of your global income. Im looking to stay in Vietnam minimum 12 months on 3 month rentals which are cheap as chips

Hello i am enjoying another one of your videos on Alona beach when i noticed several Money Exchange places. When i come to the Philippines i will be taking brand new Bank of England pound notes to exchange. Can i ask you when and if you have the time to pop into any of the better exchange places to let me know what is the exactv foreign money exchange rates for say £1000 GBP into PHP PLS this will be a great help to me so i can know where best to exchange my money upon arrival in the Philippines. I plan to land in Manila. Then travel to EL Nido - Boracay - Cataclan to Cebu Mactan/Lapu Lapu & to Bantayan Island to/Pangalao Alona beach. After Alona fly to Dumaguete go to Valencia/Dauin. Then a ferry to Siquijor island & Back to Dumaguete for rtn flt to Manila to fly back to Scotland. I would really appreciate any useful travel tips as this will be my first ever trip to the Philippines and i do not as yet! Have any Philippine bank accounts to make any Foreign Money International transfers like i used to do when i lived in Thailand. I look forward to watching more of your YT videos.

Hello i am a new subscriber watching your video on Alona beach. I will be coming to the Philippines for my first time. Could you please tell me how you travelled from Bantayan Island over to Bohol/Pangalao Alona Beach? By Ferry or can you fly? I hope to visit both islands. After i have visited El Nido then to Boracay by air & ferry. I hope you will be kind enough to reply. I am retired and i come from Scotland and my goal is to live permanently in the Philippines. Thank You.

The current Bureau of Immigration commissioner - in the Philippines - decided to force more expats to do an SRRV or the 13a for marriage - as opposed to allow the continued use of the tourist visa ! --- $ appears to be the reason. Especially the amount of cost for the SRRV to obtain !!! --- I expect it will force many to leave the country that can't afford the requirements to obtain the SRRV - so the Philippines will lose out on all the $ they would have spent in country ? -- Instead -- I can see countries like Cambodia benefit benefit from their over 55 'retirement visa' - offering much friendlier terms !!! It may cause 'some' to pay the $10,000 deposit and forget they have that $ ? - - - Seems like THAT is what is happening here and so things will be different going forward it appears. --?-- 🤔

i'm not sure if there is other place in the country where wearing helmets within the city is prohibited, but speed limit is a must observed, but here in Pagadian City the prohibition of helmets is implemented as per city ordinance, coz there was sometime post pandemic where shooting incidents are very high and the suspects usually wears helmets and with face masks and its hard to identify even the incidents occur during daytime and with cctv footages still won't help.

I spent 3 months in CDO after Covid. I was 64yo and am 188cm 90kgs, blonde haired, and fit. It's easy to travel around there. There are a few good nightspots and it's pretty chill. The videographer sounds a bit creepy to me. I expect he pays for sex. I hooked up with a 38yo Zumba instructor and supervisor of a real estate company. Well dressed and presented. If you want to get out of Manila and Cebu, CDO is a great option with better prospects for 'nice girls'.

Good question! There's so much to see. It's taken me so many trips to cover only half the country. Depends how long yr considering and how much noise you can tolerate. As a newbie I'd consider the Delhi/Agra/Rajasthan route. Nowadays I just stick to the beaches of Goa and Kerala - but they're still noisy!

Why is this man marking Mindanao a Red Zone? First of all, This man has no right to mark places in Mindanao as Red Zone. He is simply destroying the image of Mindanao. He is insulting the people of Mindanao particularly the sensitive Ethnic Tribes of Mindanao. I strongly suggest, If you make blogs of Mindanao, Dont make a category about safe or not. We Mindanaoans do not want foreigners that destroy the image of our beloved island because it is sacred. We want this video taken down. KZbin please take action.
