There is supposed to be a little bit of both so it can move easily, but too much will also make the blade loose, also where did you get the wave one, maybe they make them with the sharp blade 😁💞

The Amazon one is the only one some of us can get legally, dude. Unless anyone here can recommend a better trainer knife. Because for whatever reason, my state thinks cane swords, balisong blades, and nunchucks are suuuuuuuper dangerous and outlawed them.

I have 3D printed knives that have tons of play and they flip exceptionally well. The great thing about them is, it’s less than a dollar to make them and if they break, I can easily print another for practice. I’ve used them and used metal ones as well and as long as the infill on the slicer is set high enough, the weight distribution and balance are very similar to some metal knives.

You have not tried bottom of the barrel cheap ass balisongs it seems. Antimony handles, infinite play, loose screws, the lock is either too short or too long....😂😂

me playing my balisong and do a flip trick but only problem was i play it with sharp blade cause here in my place balisong is cheap,and if i buy or order trainer balisong is expensive hehehe but i gain some point that i can do trick with it hahaha at first i do trick it trun out like im in fight my hands full of cuts😂.. anyone can notice that my hands is have a battle mark cause of sharp blade...

if it has a "tap" meaning the balisong is used constantly. From Philippines here living in Batangas. - By the way the "tap" sound does not affect the performance of a balisong.

Take that amazon knife and a small hammer. Tap gently the two rivets (or if screws tighten them) to take up the play... You're welcome.
