yea didn't even think about how sus that could sound lol. I use the word minor because I was under 18, but forgot the context that's usually used in. In this situation though it still applies because I'm sure he wanted to support it at the beginning but my age is literally on my Twitter, and he probably seen my age only after he already said he would follow me in a video.

@@Tokaint I think the fnaf movie wasnt what the die hard fans wanted, and it appealed to the masses (good move on their part). Although I do wish if followed the lore well and was super accurate (how I would've wanted it) fnaf has a fanbase of kids. I wouldve loved a creepy, gorey, true to the original game's lore, which done right would've been praised - but 90% of the time, that would flop. It was a lot safer to do it how they did and kinda veer off from actual lore, like the sonic movie. I like to look at it as an alternate universe type thing. I think it was fine, but most like super fans would've liked to see fnaf vhs type horror i think. I can see why they would be mad but the hate really wasn't warranted I also realized I typed out a big ass redditor response😭

@@raycoilz dw about it I remember back in the day when we were free to explain as much as need without low attention span people getting annoyed 🤣 anyways you make some good points. The thing I wonder is if people really want to watch the same thing twice. The Netflix avatar the last Airbender was cool, but it was so similar to the original that I could'nt really appreciate it as I watched the original so many times already. The parts that they did do differently tho I was happy about. I love how the fnaf movie was pretty different from the original series, makes me so excited for a sequel.

@@Tokaint The way I see it, people (me included) wanted an end all be all culmination of 10 years of jigsaw puzzled lore put into a movie/movies in all of its glory. Laid out exactly how scott wanted it to. What we got was great, but given the fact you barely SEE anything really mainline lore related (clearly at least) in basically all the games, it would be awesome to see that adapted to movie form. IMO, it would make a better series than movie so it could cover everything and be as accurate as possible to what the fans put together with the lore after all these years.

If I wanted to cancel him or something I would've made sure to have all the evidence and stuff. This is just all based on memory, I promise I didn't lie about anything the story is just kinda crazy 🤣. Not very hard to believe tho it's all public information, it's just not popular information. I started developing little mobile games at 10 yrs old. My first PC game was indeed better to upload which I made at 15-16, and then obviously I made the second game at 17-18. Everything Cory has said was on 2 of his videos, tweets which was not much and an email which I already say in the video. I was a minor for the entire development of both of these games. I finished development before I turned 18 around the pandemic. I'm not trying to pull out screenshots, I find that pretty disrespectful, I'm just telling my story I don't know his side of it as there was 0 communication on his end. Hope that clear things up.

It was definitely a key memory. I watched the video on the TV with my whole family when it first happened. It definitely had an impact on how much work I put into the final game, but didn't get the same kind of love. I'm glad I was able to do it on my own, make my own video playing my own game, and had even more millions of people watching. But I wouldn't have had the confidence to do it without the Cory situation.
