What are the other two pieces? And you can still learn the piano and play good if you stick to it for a few years, people give too much importance about starting at a young age or practicing 10 hours/day but it is not that special, just start some lessons and you’ll already enjoy your progress after a few weeks I’m sure!

@benjaminsoudan Unfortunately, I'm really quite old. I tried to learn Jim Chappel's Gone in 2004 and only got as far as 3 pages (out of 6 or 8 pages of it, I think) and would learn only a few bars on an unlit auditorium of my country's Department of Foreign Affair head office. And when I played it in front of someone who knew how to play the piano, she smiled and said that I was using the wrong fingers on a lot of the notes. I laughed too. The second piece I would like to learn in my next life would be Bach's 974 Adagio. I like On the Nature of Daylight, Schindler's List and Cinema Paradiso but I think a string instrument is best for those. 🙂🙂🙂

@ those are great pieces of music, but not the easiest or the shortest to start the piano I would say. For the fingers placement for sure there is technic involved, but you also got to trust how your fingers naturally move on the piano, don’t listen too much to people criticism with piano, it’s most importantly emotions and practice/patience, and the process is unique for everyone. What’s sure is that if you made it to page 3, you can go further, so I hope you get back to it, in this life or another 😊
