Thank you for the video. What grit sandpaper works best for sanding the rustoleum crack filler to level with concrete?

Back in the day, a cracked slab was the kiss of death for a house. I guess it was something the owner could deal with but trying to sell it, was another story.

Thanks for such an inspiring and chill video and for sharing your technique; especially taking the paint and sprinkle in sections, that took me by surprise; but ends up looking blended and beautiful-excellent work!

great video on this. you said to sweep out the garage after grinding right. I had rented a big grinder with Diamond blades so i had alot of dust. should i just sweep it all out and use my leaf blower to finish up? or use a pressure washer get all the dust out. ? thanks

Looks like my home that was built by Highland Homes. After being in the construction trades for over 30 years and being an Engineer, you think they would have taken my advice about Saw cuts for control. Nope, the Regional Manager knew more even though he had no real experience in Construction. Thanks....good video.

I used to do this for a living... For the flakes we used a water jug. And cut off the bottom taped it to feed into a leaf blower. Then just sprayed the flakes everywhere... If they pile up to much in one spot, well you have a leaf blower and just blow extra flakes into bare area... Then next day we would sweep loose flakes and block sand any standing flakes and then seal

We also used a chemical called pm5 for cracks as it was rubbery and would stretch with the crack if any movement happens

Nice work! Make sure to use a respirator when cutting concrete. Also, when acid reacts to concrete is when you see the VOC’s, so it doesn’t matter if it’s citrus or any other “green” acid, when it hits the concrete, it’s no longer safe and a respirator / PPE should be used. Otherwise nice finish 👌🏻

RUST-OLEUM Concrete Patch & Repair is terrible product and it will not last. Also I think you are missing very important step. It does not look like you properly etched your garage floor and cleaned it before epoxy. Therefore that epoxy cannot properly bind to the concrete and could come off over time.

Whats up man awesome video, I was wanting to put the clear coat Rocksolid on top however when I saw it was more expensive than the actual base coating I do not want to do it, kind of a three way question but my floor is a raw concrete, I am going to diamond grind it but do you think I need it is necessary to put primer and the top clear coating on after if I use the rocksolid product? Thank you
