Yep! The track is very high speed and flowy. Also I have a 4.36 FD gear installed which bumps all my gears up one. It works great!

Surprisingly the only thing the car did well was corner lol. You can see that I couldn't quite keep up in the straights. Going to have to fix that before Road America so I don't get walked. But yeah insane grip in this car now that I have it figured out.

I changed my set up last year after this event from 3.69 FD gears to 4.36's lol, but last year I was on a much taller tire. This year with shorter tire and super short gears I had no choice but to grab 6th just right at the end there lol.

It’s an aftermarket dash, and can’t figure out how to get it to pull actual gears from ecu. So we made a program to run it off of speed/rpm, and just haven’t gotten around to changing it for the new final drive gears I swapped in before this event. 👍🏼

Thanks guys! Starting at the back kind of ruins a race weekend but at least I can go out and get some driver development/practice out of it. Its so hard as a driver to lift off the throttle and wait until you know you will have a run for the pass but I was surprised I was doing it well in this race.

Yeah man, a lot of dudes were doing very black and white no/no's lol. Glad I was racing cautious but still trying to pass as many drivers as possible since I started at the back.

Was literally about to commit how smart Austin was driving around it. He had the inside twice on the BMW but backed off because the BMW would have ran him off. Left him no room.

Pretty proud of myself for holding back and waiting for the right opportunity to make the move, but in a few cases, the move was already halfway made, and then was pinched away from me. Not fun.

Thanks man! I'll look into them. This gopro was a borrowed one from a friend, not sure if a setting was off or what. My gopro was sadly stolen out of my truck along with a whole bunch of things the day of the event. I have a brand new gopro hero 10 now, hoping it works a lot better. I should know not this weekend but next when we finish up the car and head out to putnam park to do some testing.

Correct, the repave was amazing where they actually repaved it. Still pretty bumpy into some of the braking zones where they didn't repave.
