platformer extremes are definitely much easier since those are more intuitive for new players and the standards just aren't there since it's a relatively new level type beating my first platformer extreme took 7 hours and my previous hardest platformer was a hard demon, in fact i only beat 2 platformer hard demons meanwhile my first classic mode extreme demon took like 30 hours and my previous hardest was a high insane demon, then i got like 5 insane demons and 15 hard demons
@SSuser-go7jm12 күн бұрын
Platformer demons are so much easier than normal levels lmao, Fury of 500 probably takes as much time for an average player as an easier medium demon, if even that.

Hey, so I was looking at the difficulty chart and even though I mostly agree with it, I do think it doesn't really paint the real picture of the difficulty considering some of them needs specific skill set. As a FURY OF 500 victor, I want to give my opinions of the last 6 rooms, better late than never I guess. To differentiate my comment, I'll try to spice it up with the description of the room and some tips on beating the room. Please do keep in mind however: 1. I beat this level around 1 month ago, so this comment is probably not 100% correct, but I'm pretty confident that I still remember what the level's difficulty is considering the fact that this was (and still is) my hardest platformer demon 2. My previous hardest platformer demon is an insane demon platformer, I'll try to look at the level from a beginner's point of view but of course there will be some inaccuracies along the way So with that out of the way, let's start. Room 494 This room has mostly the same structure of difficulty as some later rooms. The room starts out with a hard green orb click followed by some needle robot jumps. I would suggest you to practice the later robot jumps after the hard green orb timing. Try to get as consistent as you can at it so you don't mess up after you do the green orb timing. Now for the green orb timing it self, there's probably some complicated ways to make that timing easier but it mostly comes down to luck. I guess try to get some kind of click pattern to help you get consistent at the timing. But other than that, it's mostly luck. Room 495 Now this room's difficulty chart has probably the biggest bias, because it requires a specific skill set, upwards ship straight fly. This room could literally be free or be your worst nightmare if you're bad at ship straight fly. I really don't know how to properly give advice for this room, because in order to master this room, you'll need to practice straight flying first. This is really a prediction as I don't know if this will help you a lot. Ship (or rather, Jetpack) has a unique "physics" feel to it, I would suggest to (once again) try to find a "rhythm" to your clicks that'll help you at least get far into the room, the rest of it is just luck at that point. If anyone else have some tips for this, feel free to reply :D Room 496 This room is one of, if not the hardest room of the whole level. You need to master the jetpack gamemode in order to have a chance of beating this room. This is also a nerve control test as well, because most of the difficulty is in the "1st half" of the room. I honestly don't even know how to give any meaningful advice here. I guess the most important thing is to stay calm in this room, the more frustrated you get, the harder it'll be. Also, don't rush it, just go slow and steady. For information, I beat this level in 10 hours, this room alone took me 1-2 hours. Once you've done this room, you got a straight shot of beating this level. Good luck. Room 497 Yay another jetpack room. This room's difficulty comes mostly from upside down jetpack gameplay. Try to get a rhythm for staying still in the air as a jetpack. Also, measure the amount of time that you need to click and release in the cube portal transition click. That's mostly all in my opinion. Room 498 Just do some triple spikes, should be easy enough. If you somehow get stuck here, don't rush to do them without stopping, just do it one by one Room 499 Another "free" room. The only thing that you need to worry about in this room is the last blue orb timing (imo). If you get stuck here, I suggest you to practice from the first edge of the last spike to try to get consistent at the blue orb click. Room 500 Well here it is, the last room. This room is greatly exaggerated in my opinion. Yes, this room is quite difficult, but it's not as hard as some others (take that statement with a grain of salt, I probably have some skill sets that helped me a ton here). The hardest part of the room is the length or it. Let's break it down, shall we? So the first robot section, the hardest part is probably the first click (if you're bad at robot, it's mostly luck). For the third click, you can get close to the spike enough that you can phase through the upper spike, so you don't need to do a stupidly hard click. Next, the jetpack section. You can phase through the bottom spike enough that you can just fall down (you need to learn gd hitboxes though), so you don't need to do a hard (direction) right click. The rest of the jetpack is easy, you just need to be careful and don't rush it. Lastly the robot part, the easy way to do the first yellow orb timing is to try to land in the corner of the spike first, then just jump over it. Next one is arguably the hardest click of the level, try to get consistent at it on practice mode, at least that's what I did. The blue orbs are easy, just (again) be careful and take your time, because you can choke it pretty easily. Next the drop part, I suggest you to hit the orbs as you go down and after you got a foothold and adjust your position on the purple orb you can just fall down and get the key. Now you need to go up, for this one, try to get consistent at it on practice mode, as you can choke this particular section easily in a normal run. Now last drop, for this part you really just need to practice it so you'll die here less in the normal run, that's really all in my opinion. As for making sure that you can beat this room, try to do a practice run from the second robot portal to the end. If you can do that, then congrats you can beat the room and the level. That's all from me, I probably missed some things. Sorry if this comment have some typos or if I just didn't explain it clearly, if you're confused, I'll try to explain it more in the replies (If I have some time). But other than that, If you can make it this far, you can certainly do these last rooms. (This comment took me 1 and a half hours to make) Good Luck!

7:45 what you are doing is a buffer click itz a common technique in gd What it means is when you land on something and are holding your button(space or mouse idk) you will make an automatic jump even if that last click is from an orb

Ok first of all, thank you for looking at my difficulty descriptions, lol. Secondly, I would like to say that I did beat this level a while ago and was basing my opinions of of what rooms I remembered and what the rest of the rooms looked like from the editor (I just got a copy of it and scrolled through the rooms looking at each one), so some rooms that I thought were hard you fluked, and some that I thought were *easier* were not so easy. However, I feel like the later rooms' difficulties I remember a lot more fondly since I was stuck there for a while, so I feel like those are more accurate than the previous ones. Still, though, I believe that you can do this if you just try, which you clearly are and I'm honestly impressed that you got to this point without quitting, which is very admirable, imo, so keep on keeping on and eventually, you will end up beating it! P.S. There are some rooms after room 500, but they are all very, VERY easy and I mean that with 100% confidence so yeah, good luck! :D
