It seems like it’s spinning decently fast, and with the amount of torque it must be making for that large of a cylinder, how is it only 25 hp? Genuinely curious.

it may look like its turning fast but it only turns about 325rpm these flywheels are massive.

@@DieselEngineSean yeah you’re right, I counted 18 fires for the 6.5 second long video, and if it’s firing every rotation, since it’s a two-stroke, that means in this video it’s spinning about 166 RPMs.

It was used like our traditional predator Honda clones in Germany as generators etc. they were also industrial motors.

They will make a bit more, the specs are for its rated 4000rpm with a governor I believe. I would think it could double the output at 8000rpm. And a honda GX240cc 8hp weighs more than this

once you see how theyre ported inside... not much you can do. intakes about 12mm across, and then loops through the rotor for the lube. pretty tight in there.

That is a muffler from a Lombardini diesel engine, it’s close to fitting, but only held on with 1 bolt in that video.

The contractor that is in charge bid the job to include it as scrap. I can’t spend the time to disassemble and remove it piece by piece or i would save it.

Actually I dont think I've seen a big boy like this with a turbo. To he fair I've only seen 2 and one was an antique haha. I'm having a hard time imagining the size of a turbo capable of moving the air this thing inhails. I'm sure it has some sort of forced induction cuz 2 stroke diesel. Really cool though!
