Personally I like Layton Exclusive a lot more. Regular Layton is cool, but Exaclusiv feels more complete. It’s stronger, more of that almond earthy 🌎 warm pie 🥧 smell to it. Feel more of that manly sexy smell to it with that stronger wood and watery smell 🪵💧

In my opinion, they smell similar, because they both fall into the Chypre category. With citrus openings, green notes in the middle and woodsy basenotes. But not a full on clone. Just similar. Hope this helps.

I have indeed smelled both. Royal Oud is fantastic. They did a really nice job with that. Spice and Wood is one i had to come back to. I wasn't feeling it that day.

NO PERFORMANCE. NONE. ABSOLUTELY NONE. 14 sprays at 7:00 am. 14 - 20 sprays on the turtle neck I was wearing. 14 - 20 sprays even on my undershirt. 8:37 am at work. Co-worker who likes "to come smell me" got all up on my neck and smelled NOTHING. Smelled nothing. I put my nose all up in my turtle neck and could barely detect anything. NO PERFORMANCE AT ALL. Why did I spray like that? Because for 5 days in a row, I was wearing and spraying "normal" and not one comment from anyone. I couldn't even detect it. I figured I'd gone nose blind, so me not detecting anything didn't bother me. So... I purposely did crazy sprays and... NOTHING. NOTHING. This stuff lasts maybe 10 minutes. I couldn't even smell anything in my car as I drove to work. The parking attendant in the garage at work usually comments when I arrive in the morning or leave at the end of the day. "I like today's cologne, that's nice" or "Good choice today" or "OOOOHHH, I like that one". Burberry Hero - not one comment. It's 20 degrees today. Maybe this scent needs the summer months so body heat can push it out. I don't know. So far, for me... this stuff is trash. What's the point of making a 'FRAGRANCE" than can't be detected? I don't get it.

Thank you for reaching out. I honestly don't know what could have happened. I spray the PARFUM lightly because it can be polarizing. It's a nice for the cooler and cold weather. That being said, I had to return my first bottle of Absolu Aventus for this exact reason. Sounds like something to be investigated. Again thank you for your comment. Mel

I love Hero EDP. Watched vids where they say the parfum smells like dill pickles and at the store today I tested it because I have a bottle inbound. Yes, do not leave the house until it warms on the body. After the initial dry down it smells woody and cedar. I still prefer the EDP.

I don't know if there is. This is an indie house and I purchased this based on the notes. But, it reminds me of Angel Share, and there are plenty of clone on the market for that. Kamrah by Lattafah being one of the best. And it's sub $60.

It's legit one of my favorite fragrances. In warm weather before I stopped being able to smell it, I got 7-8 hours.

I have yet to smelll a great fragrance that includes chocolate. I have had some good fragrances with chocolate, and I do not mind wearing anny fragnance with chocolate, but to me chocoate holds a fragrance back. There is just something about chocolate in a fragrance that just does not do it for me. I used to feel the same about cinnamon in fragrances, but now I have experienced a lot of great fragrances with cinnamon. So far I am yet to find a fragrance with chocolate that is unique, creative or something i think of as great.

Thank you for your comment. Two of my favorite gourmand fragrances that have a chocolate note are, Fantasm and Black Phantom. The chocolate accord is sweet but not too sweet where it's over taking the fragrance itself.
