Great vlog but that is South Bay. The North bay is where Peasholme Park, Sea life Centre, miniature train run. No arcades.

Love Whitby. That Dracula experience at 00:21 is so cheap and cheesy but also very cheap to go in and full of heart. Lovely town, would definitely go back.

Some of the comments here, you can tell it's no longer a Goth weekend with the attitude some people are just chavs. Probably used to shout abuse at Goth when they were younger.

You missed the actual Goths. Whitby Goth Weekend / Tomorrow's Ghosts Festival happens at the Spa or up at the Brewery. It's a music festival. None of these dress-ups posing around the streets are Goths. What you've covered here is Whitby Halloween Fancy Dress Weekend. Goths do not wear costumes; we look the same every day. These people dress up once or twice a year in order to get photographed and filmed. We avoid going into town during the day as it's completely taken over by the fancy dressers and photographers and is just unbearable nowadays. I would love it if, just once, someone uploaded a video of the actual Goth festival. The Mission headlined at the Spa on Friday night. That's where the Goths were, not posing around the streets in Halloween costumes.

Why are most of them 50+? Nothing Goth about them, its fancy dress.

I cant believe locals up in arms ,,dont they know the money it brings in ,they would be on welfare all winter ,you should encourage more
