@@itisinickt listen, dont sweat it man.. i often have a feeling all of my best songs are accidents. I dont really come from a formally trained background and most everything i do is purely guided by feel, so often i have a very difficult time recreating my previous succesfull attempt when i dont have the spark, which can be very depressing. All we can do is try our best to make what we can :) dont stop, continue and youll eventually make great things

This is really relatable and I was exactly in your situation a while ago but now everytime I see someone good it fires me up even more because I can reach that kind of skill someday. It’s natural to be bad at something at the start. Of course the stuff I uploaded isn’t necessarily beginner level, but that’s because I spent months learning both fl studio and music in itself. I never really liked my songs but then I made a decent one and uploaded it. It’s all seriously just spending time with the thing you wanna learn. Whether it’s making music, playing music or studying music theory, as long as you do what you feel like doing, progress will come. In the end music is an expression of ones feelings. It’s like a language. It can be learned. I don’t even know what I am even writing this whole time but let me tell you from experience. I was bad at drawing. I was bad at making music. And other things. Some might learn faster than others. But how much potential you have, is the only thing you decide.

Every day is the same. The sky, once a vivid blue, becomes greyer and greyer with every turn of the moon. You stare outside of your window, wondering in vain if there was anything you could've done differently, anything you could've done to change the path you now walk. You know in your heart that there were innumerable things you could've done, but it's pointless to think about that now. You feel that pain in your chest again, that immense sorrow welling up from inside a pit in your stomach you always try so hard to ignore; it catches in your throat and you know its taste well- regret, a sharp and hollow flavor that you can never seem to live without. "Is it not enough just to manage? Is it not enough just to survive?" You wonder aloud to no one. You never get an answer, because in your gut you feel that it truly isn't. You know that life is meant to be enjoyed and experienced, so why is it that everyone else is having such a good time and you're not? The envy and jealousy you once felt and held onto for many years has since waned into something else, a different and completely overpowering emotion by comparison- yearning. A yearning for what could've been. A yearning for what others seem to obtain so easily. Those once sour and acrid emotions tainted your view on the world, leaving it colorless and blank. A world without purpose, in your dulled eyes. "Maybe I'm just not meant to be happy." You think, "Maybe this is fate." And so with a cold and heavy heart you continue to exist, only barely surviving, never truly living.

you managed to capture all stages of grief 0:04 denial 0:47 anger 1:10 bargaining 1:33 depression 2:00 acceptance not sure if this was intentional but wow it lines up perfectly. either way it's beautiful good job
@MASI12128 ай бұрын
Thank you! Not exactly intentional, yet they are all a part of the emotion i felt, which inspired me to make this, so maybe a subconcious choice hehe ? :D The ending being "Acceptance" was intentional though, Ive already argued about it with some people in the comments, who did not understanding why i ended it with a major chord :)

The closing scene of a silent film, our protagonist steps into a canal barge as the fog rolls in upon a November morning. It is the dawn of a new day, and as they depart the night they venture out of the life they had always known. Such loss and longing, but a final bright upturn as they disappear from view. Perhaps the new world shall be better.

sorry, i am a bit confused, why are you making this now? C418 has always been firm that he left ever since microsoft took control, and notch? hes long gone too with C418, did they pass away or something? whats the occasion?
@MASI12129 ай бұрын
I made this because I've grown up and fondly think back to the times when everything used to be much less complicated and stress free. When I used to spend my evenings playing Minecraft with friends. Those times are long gone, but they comprise some of the best memories I have and wouldn't be possible without the work of Notch & C418. This is a tribute to their work. Also old Minecraft is no longer with us, it has changed significantly and strayed off the original intended path, which I find to be a bit sad to me, even though I understand the need for new content.

Damn, tat's a very interesting peace! Though with a consideration of the theme being FOMO, a bit weird that it ended with a happy sounding major chord.
@MASI12129 ай бұрын
Thank you. It was a deliberate choice to go with a major chord. I believe that recognizing that you're feeling fomo isn't a purely negative thing, as it is the first step for future change and improvement of ones behaviour/perception. There's many causes for fomo, but it can often be a symptom of ones inability to let go and climb over the comfortable protective wall they've built around themselves, the last chord signified a small peak over that wall, into an plain of existence not shackled by these self imposed chains.
