Yeah that was my bad. The braid had been on there a couple years and had not noticed it was so low. All the ones with old braid got despoiled after this.

You only need to use one with this setup if you use the tarps loops to stake to ground.

Get Helikon Tex swagmanroll . Its a poncho wit apex2.0 insulation , it can be zipped for summer sleeping bag and it can also be used as hammock underquilt

Gave up hammock camping back sleeping on the ground. Pack is lighter and my neck likes it better.

@@RonnieShawley i like sleeping on ground in winter season only. 90% of all my nights are in hamock even in winter but winter is only season that I include bivi bag camping. Its good to have an option to chose :) Not everything is for everyone and thats good :) Cheers
