Most of these sounds are blending for drone sounds, so to me it makes sense to do it that way. If I put the effects in the master, I would lose both the dry and the wet send sound blended together, and if I have the same effect over and over in the channel I will have only the wet sound and I'll crush my CPU. If you don't mind my asking, what would you have done differently?

Und du solltest auch immer ein Deck als Master vorgeben wenn du sync benutzt

Und niemals Bass Layern. Das klingt in 99% der Fälle distorted und schlecht

I believe autogain is turned on. I admittedly have a bad habit of having a high gain. I also have A limiter set to -3db in Traktor to help with that. I see your point about the dynamics. EDIT: Turns out I didn't have autogain on like I thought. I also turned down my main to -3db. At full bore it looks like I'm not clipping. I made that change. We'll try it out next week and see how it goes. Thanks for your feedback.

Oh yeah, it's nerve-wracking. It's on their roadmap, so they say. A Traktor back-end overhaul is really due.

For my DJ sets I'm using Traktor Pro 3 with a Traktor Kontrol S4 Mk1. Monitoring using a Mackie Mixer and a Focusrite interface. For my Tuesday Production night I generally use the Elektron Digitakt, Digitone, and Syntakt. And I just got a TR-8s I'll start incorporating.

Now that's what I call a spicy meatball.

Good observation. I've always had problems with Traktor's headroom using the volume sliders. And I also have a bad habit of wanting to "crank up" the eqs on the mixer, since I'm usually playing fast and loud techno. When I'm producing with my outboard gear I promise I'm more conservative with the eq!
