I like your cleaning standards, and not throwing away the potatoes that were broke out of bags and put back on the display. Nice sizing........🤣🤣🤣 Your dress attire and winter hat out on the sales floor is definitely not something that is not acceptable and never was in the stores and companies I have worked for in my 37 years in the supermarket industry.

I LOLd when he dumped the potatoes from the box instead of using his hands.

Thanks for uploading all these videos man. I got moved to produce 3 weeks ago after 10 years of non perishables (mostly frozen) and thank God I found your videos because I haven't gotten any real training and produce is like a completely different job compared to non perishable departments.

That’s awesome how your cilantro is on the bottom of the wet-wall 🙌🏽 Ours is 2 trays, near the top of the wall and it gets so much moisture when fully stocked (I think because it is sandwiched/compressed in) Are you using a GoPro? What type of shifts do you think a person “closing produce” should work? Or until what time - if the actual store closes at 10pm. Do you let product sell down in the evenings or keep it full in the early morning?

Yes… I usually trim and soak it before I put it out on the shelf. In this video I was just refreshing the product. I’ll spray it down with the water hose , out on the sales floor.

@CruzerLovesveggies Жыл бұрын
Refrigerated produce like grapes ,cherries, apples, citrus, avocados will break down if over filled. Non refrigerated produce like tomatoes onions potatoes will not break down as fast . The light and anything that is put out on the shelf, the customer will go through it and beat it up. This will help it go bad faster. Hope that helps…
@ohokayofficial4 ай бұрын
I was looking for a topic about this, because it happens at our store. The grapes + cherries get stacked 2-3 bags high on each other, and sometimes they’ll sit on display at room temp for the entire day - then place them back in the cooler by the evening. Rotating overfilled product is ridiculously time consuming.
