Thank you! Next time, I'll set up the camera where the sand is falling from.

Huh. Those stone blocks are not as heavy as I was thinking

That's right. I was initially wondering how we were going to move them, but it turns out they're light enough for two people to handle easily.

Copper gutters. I wonder how some of them became this beautifull blue color on the inside. I think it is a color of some of the copper compounds, probably salt

I was thinking it would be nice if it were copper (turning blue would have been fine too), but it turns out it's just iron. The blue probably came from paint splattering when the galvanized sheet metal was being painted. Copper gutters are expensive but they're something I aspire to have.

So there is a God in this old well. I learn many things about culture by watching the renovation videos too

In Japan, it's said that there are yaoyorozu (八百万) gods from ancient times, embodying the spirit of all things in nature. Yaoyorozu means 'countless gods,' signifying that virtually everything in nature is inhabited by a divine spirit. Therefore, we especially treat objects that have been used for a long time with great respect, as they are believed to be inhabited by gods.

Huh...I wonder why there are those stone blocks uder the floor in such a spot
@kazoku-kominka9 ай бұрын
I think these might be remnants from when the previous residents renovated and decided to repurpose leftover materials for the foundation rather than wasting them.

It also serves as a security feature and enhances the insulation.

Should the concrete by so dry upon application? Never mind, it looks good, well done

Thank you so much. It was my first time attempting this, and there was a lot of trial and error along the way, but I'm happy to say that it turned out well in the end.
