This isn’t new. As an almost retired (any day now)employee of a large hospital in New England, I’ve resigned due to employer’s creating a toxic work environment around the same time as the layoffs commence. I’ve been fired for no reason because this is an at will state. Employers have no loyalty therefore they don’t deserve loyalty. Over 45 years of this $hit-🖕🏽 Now I have to pray they don’t somehow take away the social safety net I paid for all these years. Vote blue!

Raising rates without informing customers is the #1 way to make retention cheaper. Too many introverts out there that would rather pay the additional money than call an 800# and talk to a person they can’t understand to remedy the situation.

Metaverse will have a sticking point for a simple and more obvious reason: people love to gamble and be entertained. For the metaverse - you have an intoxicating confluence of tech of several technologies that move money faster in crypto and facilitate new social experiences overlaid with VR and AI. How decentralized and purely Web3 it will be is up in the air though because I think the likes of Microsoft and Meta/Facebook are really deep into building the metaverse and are taking a lot of notes of what's working and what's not in the crypto gaming space and how it could work in mobile/PC/video games.

Meta as well as MS have just severely cut their Metaverse investments/teams. Re Minecraft Roblox, Fortnite, I agree that this is how the kids often socialize (I see it first hand, every day ...). Just that I do not consider them "metaverse"
