Catherine, Not sure if you have this channel anymore as this video was uploaded a long time ago, but i would love it if you could find your dads old Peugeot 403's that he drove on the set, from what i read, one disappeared and the other one ended up in Mexico. last i heard of that one, it was in terrible shape. I never miss an opportunity to watch episodes of Columbo whenever I find them on tv. It was my favorite show during the years it was originally broadcast. At age 80, I still find it marvelously entertaining.

Falk had a wandering eye. Why get married if you don't want commitment!!?? You still get old and die.

Avrei tanto voluto incontrarlo, era il mio sogno. Sono sicuro che avrei vissuto un emozione incredibile. Mi è molto dispiaciuto quando ho saputo che se n era andato... É stato davvero triste. Mi piacerebbe sapere com era come padre e per te come è stato avere per padre un grande attore... Non pretendo che mi rispondi, era solo una curiosità!! Grazie per questo tributo. I grew up watching your dad. At 56 I still watch Columbo every time it is playing. My wife and I are lifelong fans of all things Peter Falk.

I love the Columbo stuff but I admire his work with Cassavetes, and it looks like this team Falk/Cassavetes/Gazzara was the thing! I would have love to spend an evening with those guys! Mr Falk was a great talent for sure.

It is such a deep, paralyzing pain to watch someone you love get exploited and be powerless to stop it. In my 20s I was a caretaker for a very sweet lady with early onset Alzheimer's for several years and watched her get groomed and robbed by her best friend/"financial advisor". When I finally had proof I reported it and was promptly fired by the "advisor". The woman's children had no care for their mother and were more interested in partying and living off their trust funds, her siblings had passed away already and her only niece was an alcoholic. It broke my heart to feel like I was the only one with her best interests at heart, basically a stranger, and her own family and friends just saw her as a resource or a burden. She was like another aunt to me. I read about what you went through, Catherine, and I admire you for sharing your story and fighting for change. I know your dad would never have wanted you to go through that, the disease strips away so much and leaves its victims vulnerable to the evil and manipulative people of this world. Alzheimer's is one of the cruelest fates possible in my opinion.
