Beautifully done, sir. Funeral for a Friend has always been a special tune for me since I crushed it during a piano recital when I was 14 (about 1975). I've never heard it done on guitar but you adapt it perfectly. Bravo.

The lilting music you create with the guitar subtly reveals the soul of a good and kind man.

Jimmy got so much crap from ‘ripping off’ so many artists prior, but this and about 60 other songs were his and ones where he did take inspiration from he made them his own and so much better.

I got Rick Foster's book with this song in it several decades ago. I remember struggling a LOT with this Bach piece. You do a MUCH better job on it. Thanks for posting this - it brings back Bach memories.
