I think the closest dupe would be Gelly Roll gel pens. The “Stardust” set match up to Karin’s “Star Sparkle”. Karin’s “Milky Way” matches up to Gelly Roll’s “Monlight”. And Karin’s metallic set matches up to Gelly Roll’s metallics. There aren’t the same number of colors or anything, I think Gelly Roll may have even more. But the draw to these Karin markers is how much more ink flow you can get out of them than the cheaper alternatives. I don’t mind going over my work a little bit with cheap pens, to get this same kind of result.

Hi there Dan, new viewer here! 😊 I've just purchase a pack of these Tricolour brush pens from Crafter's Companion (CC), however I'm definitely not getting a "seamless colour gradient". Leann Chivers recommended Neenah cardstock in the Tricolour launch video, however CC UK no longer appear to stock it! I have some other smooth cardstock I got from them but the markers definitely aren't "self-blending". Could you give me your recommendation for the best alcohol marker cardstock please? Thank you.

i just got the same set and they’re very nice, especially the brush tip. i just have to be careful not to fray the marker tips since they are water based not alcohol based. i am considering buying a water based type of sketchbook or a mixed media one.

I got this set delivered today,the Milky Way set are leaking into the lids did anyone else have this problem and I can I stop it happening again

I would love to use the Inktense pencils to colour my Hanna Karlzon’s books. But how do I activate it with water without the color bleeding through. I don’t mind the buckled(?) page but not the bleed through.

Thanks for the great swatching. I wasn’t ordering because the shipping from Cult Pens to the US was ridiculous. HOWEVER, they are currently having a $10 shipping special to the US so I leaped all over that! 😊
