Here I was thinking you might have a better story about improvements for fathers in the 'family' court. Same story for me in the 1990's 'family' court, 30 iffing years ago!. Mother was a diagnosed schizophrenic which at 20 years old I thought was something you could fix. Wound up being a fairly hands on dad because I had to. 13 years and 4 kids later, realised I was not capable of 'fixing' her. The 'family' court was a nightmare with background accusation of child abuse against me and the children's lawyer denying my wife's 20 year history with the mental illness...telling the judge she was just stressed and I was the cause. The saving grace for me was my kids involvement. After a period of her pissing around with access including assaulting me outside her home along with some of her new neighbours and the court not insisting she stuck to arrangements. Police just drove away once they realised it was 'her assaulting him'! My 2nd kid (10-11 years old at the time) stood up to mum and made sure they got to the train from Masterton for me to pick them up from Upper Hutt. We used the train to avoid any repeats of the assault. I had tried waiting at the end of the street after being assaulted, but i never knew for sure they would get to me. Did 4 years of sociology early 2000's as a result of my experiences. F*** the 60 years of 'gender wars' and the hate that arose out of the feminist ideology infesting our western societies. Now dealing with 'round 2' with a son playing games around the grandkids seeing me. I apparently didn't step up to mind the kids so his wife could have a real break. I'm late 60's and thought not asking him for physical help while they stayed was good on my part! The problem for him is I ain't interested in being any part of difficulties seeing the grandkids in the winter years of my life.

what a moron you truly are Duncan .. people are still leaving because of the mess Ardern and Hipkins left this country in and the racist policies that divided us. When inflation was going through the roof under Labour everyone was saying that unemployment would have to rise to help bring down inflation. Labour just kept adding my public servants completely ignore all advice on how to bring the economy back .... now this government is playing catchup from labour pathetic running of this place

Cancer drugs are not the answer. Ban the use of Monsanto chemicals(under the name of Yates). Stop fluoridation. Clean up the food industry from chemicals in growing to additives, especially seed oils. Prevention not cure.

Hello Mr Garner. Ain't seen you since your leaving morning 'news'! Mind you stopped watching that rubbish at the start of the covid bs. Your KZbin came past my feed this morning and bugger me, you are interviewing cousin Paul. Haven't seen him for a while either! Great interview and good observations from Paul on some aspects of our deteriorating society. Agree Mike King has been doing some great work. Especially men and depression. 'Liberals' and the 20th century left and the current pretend 'left' (aka corporate puppets of another flavour to the nats) have been ignoring issues for men and boys for decades except as a group to criticise. I used to vote 'greens' since values with the occasional 'left' vote (never the nats and proud to say never voted Labour 1984/87 and the start of who they are now). Went off the 'greens' around a suicide awareness day just after a poor father, not able to see his kids, burnt himself to death outside parliament. That suicide awareness day all the men hating 'greens' could discuss was youth suicide. I brought up the plight of fathers in the 'family' court and got blocked by their FB page and all their MP's!
