@@empv5724 In wrestling we do (or did as I don't wrestle anymore because I'm 40) that shit all the time. Its done to off balance your opponent and create opportunities for takedowns. It was just a standard part of handfighting. If you're wrestling someone with weak posture you can just snap their face right down into the mat. Upon reading that last sentence typed out I guess that WOULD be kind of a dick move, but it's certainly not interpreted that way in the mind of a wrestler.

I'd call him more aggresive than spazzy, (which is a good thing when competing). imo a spazzy person is someone with bad technique who is kind of scared when they compete so they do weird herky jerky reactions that can injure their partner, Nicky has a wrestling background so the takedowns he does are pretty safe cause he actually does them properly.

crazy to see how much of his technique is the same when comparing him just starting out, and today. I'm not saying he hasn't developed and evolved, I think it shows how instinctually good he was even from the start. His style looks relatively similar from 5 years ago compared to now, where as someone like myself has 2 completely different approaches from when I started compared to now.

Where is the jiujitsu? This is basically a wrestling match with no pins. Wrestling is cool but nogi jiujitsu it ruining the art. I’d like to see this guy in a gi metamoris type match, 20 mins, submission only. That way I could get a better perspective of his jiujitsu vs his wrestling. He’s a very good wrestler
