Thank you David for sharing your vision/poem with us. Thanks too for clarifying the difference between female Gods and Goddesses. I too love 'Spirit of life, God of all love in whom we live, move and have our being', is I feel a very universal and inclusive language, which as you say transcends gender. Interesting that you touched upon what led you out of the Anglican church into Unitarianism too. In gratitude 🙏💙

It's a big topic, but a worthwhile exercise for each of us to regularly question the roots of our thinking and beliefs to ask do they help or hinder me. The story of the two monks says so much. Thank you Rev'd Hanford for your vulnerability in sharing your personal and professional reasons behind the wearing of clerical attire. It says so much about you wanting to be authentic with yourself and those around you. A very thought provoking service Rev'd Jane, thank you 🙏💙

This service came at just the right time for me. I never feel that I am enough and see this all quite differently now. The address was inspiring to me and the reading from Wayne Muller's book: A Life of Being, Having, and Doing Enough, has proved an amazing introduction to an author I had never met. I now, two days later, not only have his book A Life of Being..., but also his book Legacy of the Heart: the spiritual advantages of having a painful childhood. I cannot thank you all enough and will be watching this service several times over, in order to keep giving myself the reminder that we are all enough, more than enough, and have so much to give.... each one of us! That must include me! And you! Thank you to all involved in crafting and sharing at this lovely service. I will definitely be back for more!. Meanwhile it is great to know that this service is now a lasting resource for me on KZbin. The only complaint I could possibly have about this service is that it has increased my Amazon bill! As if I did not already have ENOUGH books! But discovering Muller is worth it all the way. I smile as I hear Sarah leading us into meditation with the quote from the Tao te Ching: "They who know they have enough are rich!" Thank you, Kitty from Richmond Unitarians.

Thanks Kitty for letting us know Sunday’s service meant a lot to you personally. The ‘good enough’ message seems to be one many of us need to hear. Glad you could join us.
